Go ahead but both R34 GTRs will be different regarding tune.Also the handling characteristics of both games are very different.

I bought the later model cams but needed the early ones. So i need the plastic CAS.

Its bad when people have to learn the hard way,but atleast then you wont follow the same path. Like you im a huge car nut aswell as most people on this forum.But if you cant afford it,there is no point going to the credit cards for money. Credit card = evil (if you dont use them properly) Better off not owning one(like me) My advise would be to draw up a budget: 1.What you earn. 2.What you need to live(living expenses) 3.Work out how much you can afford to pay per week on your debts. 4.Try and refinance so you can put all your debts into one and have one repayment. Car will have to be put on hold until these things get worked out. There is plenty of time to play with cars(being only 19) When i was 19 i owned a 1972 VW super bug.Got me from AtoB. Then EB ford on LPG. Then EF ford(modified) But all the time waiting for the chance to own my dream car.And now i have it. It all takes time so dont worry about it too much you will get there in the end.

So will i be able to fit the Poncams to my car if i change CAS or is there more to it?

Plastic ones are off the late model 33s and the 34s.Need one to put in these Poncams.Seems like know one wants them so i have to change CAS to fit them.

Just wondering if anyone has changed the cam angle sensor on their R33s from the metal type to the plastic type? If so how hard is it? Does it affect the ECU or VCT in the R33?

I pulled out GT3 after playing GT4 for a while.And deceided to do a bit of time attack with my GTR: 34GTR Full tune super soft tires. On Midfield Raceway i clocked a 1:04:42. No coarse cutting.Purely on track racing,didnt drop a wheel. Just wondering if this was a quick time compared to the average. CHEERS

The intake cam on both series 1 and 2 Poncams are identical.Its the exhaust cam thats different(hence the different CAS).

Hi all, Has anyone put a Varex muffler on there X force exhaust system? If so i have a couple of questions. Is the pipe straight through from the cat to the muffler(no resonator or hotdog)? And does anyone have any sound or video of their varex in action? I want to see the volume and note difference both open and closed. CHEERS

The Eagle ones are $810. I can get the GTR rods for $200 Tomei rod bolts for $150 And shot peening and balancing would be around the $200 mark????

At the moment im looking to buy some rods for my RB25. My power goal with my next turbo is around 280rwkw. Just wondering if GTR rods out of a 34 would fit my engine? I would be getting them shot peened and balanced. After that would the rods be able to take the punishment or am i better off getting Eagle rods? I just think the forged ones might be over kill. Oh does that mean i have to get GTR spec pistons too? CHEERS

Would the rods fit into an RB25?

Why hasnt anyone bought these yet they are a bloody bargain!

Will it go onto a RB25/vg30 hybrid? Will it make boost more stable?
