Hi all i want to go all LEDs with the lighting and was wondering what type of flasher unit have people gone with when doing this mod to their indicators?

Where do i download it from? Ive been looking for it but i dont want to pay $250 for it.

Hi all, Will be installing Poncams soon and was wondering if anyone knows the torque setting for the rocker arm bolts? Also ive seen on the forums from time to time some stories about how easy the cams are prone to snap if not correctly installed. I have swapped out a cam on a ford motor but that cam is pretty chunky.How would i lessen the chance of snapping them? Was just going to place the rocker arm over the cams, slide in all the bolts and work my way from the middle to the ends slowly tightening each one till the correct torque setting was reached.

Bought them bout 8-9months ago.Was in my ford until xmas then put them in my skyline only last month.So the globes will still last you years.

The item is used but in good working order. I had them in my R33 but the only pic i have of them is when it was in my other car.

Would fitting poncams help to prevent comp surge as the engine would be flowing more fuel and air with the cams fitted?

R34 turbo has a larger rear housing.

I want to lower my drivers side headlight as it is not level. I see an adjustment behind the headlight that needs a socket to turn it. But when i turn it either direction the headlight only moves a small amount. Which way do i need to turn this to lower the headlight?

Once again Dale you are a wealth of turbo knowledge.Im off to Tassie tomorrow but will be getting the turbo fitted not long after i get back,cant wait. Oh and to my original question what would the turbo be compared with then??

I use to get 50-70-80 over 6500rpm

I gave them a RB turbo and they had the VG30 out of a Nissan Cima.They chucked the cartridge and wheels and bought a Garrett cartridge with the wheels and shaft balanced and assembled in it.Then both the RB and 0P6 housings were machined to suit.Turbo charger was then assembled.

I was told by Precision to be careful with the clamp as exteme force will break it.

Looked at the Garrett site and its definatley in the GT30 family. 700177 matches the CHRA of the GT30. But cant find the -5017 bit.

The numbers i got are: Garrett JK 0101 J 700177-5017 Hope this helps

The cartridge is ball bearing and both housings where machined to the max i think. Already i can see there must be a few specs of highflows out there.i hope this one isnt a lag monster.

I dont have any specs on the wheels Brad. Im kicking myself for not getting that info. My guess is at minimum a GT2876 And max a GT3040

Im planning to run 1bar with this turbo would i feel the effects of surge at this boost level? If so how do i overcome it?

Would it be in the GT30 family?
