i have a turbo coming but wont be on the car for about a month.Ill just try and drive it off boost till i can get it sorted.

Im not sure.Im going to baby it to work and back until the weekend then ill have a real good look.

Driving home just now.Car wont boost and can hear it escaping from somewhere.Ive checked all the intercooler piping and cant see any clamps or hoses loose.Doesnt choke up like a intercooler hose was off. Any suggestions???

I bought highflow injectors from deatchwerks.$555 delivered,and you get $25US each for your old ones when you send them back. Mine are 555cc.

Had the same problem on mine.Its your ECU.Once you start modifying your car the ECU starts playing silly buggers.Time for an aftermarket ECU mate. I put in a Power FC no probs now.

I totally agree anyone who changes from ceramic wheels to steel is giving themselves the option for big power.In your case just this mod alone would be a big saftey barrier.Meaning with your application your turbo will last forever at the boost levels you are running.Me on the other hand my goal is to have as much power at 3500rpm.At present the stock turbo reaches 13psi at 2700rpm in 3rd gear rolling on the throttle.So i have a lot of room to play with. It seems you have researched alot, so congrats with your result.Im sure if we were next to each other on the freeway it would be an interesing couple of squirts of the throttle.

I pulled a 260hp at the wheels on my dyno run.At 13psi and stock turbo and injectors.So when i put my highflowed RB25/VG30 BB turbo on ill only expect a 35hp gain.Doesnt sound right to me. I have my dyno sheet but for some reason cant post it so ill email to anyone if they wanna look.And hopefully put it up for me.

I have just aquired a VG30 rear housing for my stock turbo which will be highflowed shortly. If you go the VG option make sure you get the one with the OP6 rear housing.They are found on the single turbo VG30DETs.

At present ill be fitting a highflowed RB25 turbo with a VG30 rear housing(ball bearing). With the mods i have i reckon ill pull a 260-280rwkw when its all done.That might be the way to go for your setup.

No its got gt30 internals as far as i know and ball bearing.

ive seen these VG highflows pull 280rwkw at 19psi.Car had tomei cams and all supporting mods.

Power goal is around 280rwkw.

Jesus tap dancing christ! This is going to be a BIG involved task. I dont think i will be able to have my car off the road for that amout of time. I work 5 12hr shifts and need the car on the road.I guess i have to do some serious organising to limit the time spent. Not to mention the turbo place needing the turbo for a day or 3. Hi all, I will be upgrading my turbo shortly and would like some info on removing the stock one. a) Do i need a hoist? b) Can i get at everything under the car? c) Do i need to remove pod,AFM,intake hose to turbo? d) What lines to the turbo need removing? e) Its going to matched with a VG30 rear housing do i need to keep all the fittings? f) How long will it take roughly? g) Will any oil or water leak out of the engine once the turbo is removed? h) Is putting the upgraded one in just a reverse procedure or do i need to modify (add new lines)? P.S If anyone wants to save me the grief.PM me and we can work something out. CHEERS

I think you might be talking about individual throttle bodies.
