A friend of mine just had a power fc installed and tuned to his GTT.He has only a zorst and panel filter.Still a very quick car.I would leave the Z32 AFM and injectors and focus on the exhaust.Turbo back exhaust is a must.And its unsafe to run any more boost than stock on a standard system.Get that and a boost controller set to 9-10psi and get it tuned and i can safely say you will have a much quicker car that you have now.

Yesterday i went out and i couldnt find that thermofoam anywhere.I went to rocket and bought some stuff called thermo-mat.Its foil on both sides with what looks like fibreglass matting in the middle.Cost me $50 for a 120cm square sheet of it.Anyway i measured it up,cut it out and put it in the CAI.Havent really driven it much since then but surely it would do something.

When should i upgrade my fuel pump? My mods are: Apexi pod CAI FMIC Turbo back exhaust Boost controller set at 9psi Power FC coming in a few weeks. I think at the moment ill be making 165rwkw. Will fitting lets say a walbro 255L jobbie increase the pressure to my injectors? I have to change the voltage too dont i? CHEERS

Ive got an alloy one in mine very similar in design to yours but the alloy also gets pretty hot.Where can i get that thermofoam stuff?

After i got my exhaust back today(fujitsubo 3inch) it felt alot better.But can still feel a little bit of hesitation between 3 and 5k.Alot smoother but still there. Im in the process of getting an FC(i bloody hope) so ill get it on the dyno and find out for sure.

Mine is very noticable.But opens up again after 5000RPM.Due to a defect i have a standard zorst on.But get my other one back tomorrow.Ill let you know if this does anything also.But yeh very interested in the ECU swap.Keep me posted. CHEERS

Hi mate i have the same problem with mine.Half throttle is ok.But at full throttle it goes flat at 3000RPM up to 5000RPM then fine.Its at 9psi at the moment but tomorrow its going back down to 7psi.Im pretty sure its rich and retard mate.I never had this problem before i installed the pod and FMIC.The car is getting alot more airflow now.Im trying to chase a Power FC(needle in a haystack)but im sure that will sort it.

Most aftermarket systems are over the 90DB legal limit.I have a fujitsubo system.Which is really quiet. However i managed to get defected for it.It was 94.6DB.The standard system i have on it now is 88.5DB. The fujitsubo Legalis R system is 89DB at 4500RPM.That would be the system id recommend.

I used one the other day.I got 5.9 sec to 100km.And a g-force number of 0.57.Not bad for a stockish R33. On the other hand my mate who owns the G-tech pulled a 5 sec to 100km and a 0.72 on the g-force metre. But he has a club spec5 wrx with alot more mods.
