    I've had my Nismo in tank flowing E85 for a good 4 years. Pulled it out for a check before Xmas and both the sock and pump looked brand new. I have a magna fuel filter which I cleaned every 500km for 3000km then every oil change after that. I guess I was lucky in having a clean tank to start with but I know a few people who have had dramas with pumps failing and filters blocking very quickly.

    What? So basically you still had to go to an inspection station for an inspection? Did the inspector just pass the car with a once over or did he still do a full inspection? I assume no fines, just a defect notice?

    As above. Get the car to your tuner so they can run the motor in, refresh oil and filter then take it for a belt. Any issues should show within the first couple of hundred kms if any.

    Scary noise to hear on a new engine but it is perfectly normal if the lifters have been out and drained.

    The wife and I looked at Accents a few months ago, for the money no other car comes close in value for money terms. The mid spec one with the upgraded interior was very nice. Only thing about these cars is you can't argue the price because there are 5 people behind you ready to buy one lol
