Had the same issue for nearly a year. Changed settings a number of times. You get to live with it after a while lol.

To fit what? KMS? Is it 5 or 6 speed? H-pattern?

Hi all, I have for sale a harmonic balancer and external oil pump drive kit for an RB25 or RB30 with RB25/30. It includes: Harmonic balancer. Brand unknown, possibly Powerbond. Drive gear on the front of the balancer. Crank bolt. Drive belt. Moroso gear for the external oil pump. All that is needed to complete your external oil pump setup is the pump (plus lines, fittings and keyways etc) Kit has been used for approx 8,000kms. Price is $350 pickup from Sydney.

Hi all, Just wanted to share my experience at Ross Balancers today. I have needed a new harmonic balancer and external pump drive kit for my engine for about 2 months now as the old setup was causing a vibration. Everyone I have called has been out of stock, so I went to Ross Balancers direct. Ross was very welcoming and was interested in solving my vibration problem. He modified an RB26 Metal Jacket balancer to suit my RB25/30 which was great. He also modified the gear,drive and powersteering pulley (all Ross products) to suit the limited room I had with my thermo fan etc. All machining was done at no cost AND all done after knock off time on a Friday. Ross just wanted to make sure that it was all going to work properly. He is really passionate about his work and it shows in his products. Highly Recommended

His name is Rob, PJ put me onto him. Did all of his metal fab stuff. He made a manifold for a customer at JEM. Top notch stuff, so he made my new one, shroud for thermo, a bit of pipe work. So yeh, fingers crossed it all comes together in the next week or 2. It will be a car to keep your ears open for at Powercruise

Saw you on the road the other week, wtf is on your exhaust tips?

We got my 4 inch exhaust down to 93db in street form with a very restrictive Euro 4 emissions cat. Still too loud for the test but a good effort I think. Past the test with 84db with a straight through cat and a 'special' flange. Undetectable and 30sec to remove. So the only way I can get done is by one of those mobile tester things like was on the ACA "news" story. With me only driving the car once in a blue moon I think my chances are almost nil.

That housing is used on a specific motor/turbo arrangement. I highly doubt one would be made just for an aftermarket RB application. Especially when one can be fabricated so easily. Im having two 38mm gates on my next manifold, single entry Vband. Was going to be T4 divided but couldnt get a housing to suit my turbo in time. Anyone put two gates on a single entry manifold before?

Could be my shake down cruise. Really hope my car is up and running by then
