  1. Hi all, I have for sale our Ford EF XR8. We have had the car for a bit over a year now and was bought mainly for towing my car. However since we bought it I have only used it once for towing and really have no need for the car anymore (having 4 cars already) So here is the run down: FORD EF 1996 XR8 AUTO White 203,000kms 12 months rego 4 new tyres New front and rear slotted rotors New front pads CD Air Power front windows Power mirrors Tow bar Aftermarket headers Twin stainless exhaust Since we bought it the following has been replaced in services: Top rad hose New leads Plugs Battery Rotor button Ignition module CAS Fuel filter Also had the front bar professionally repainted. Has a minor scratch and a slight ding above the rear wheels arch but the paint is in very good condition for its age. The gearbox looks to have been re-done at one stage by the previous owner as it is remarkably clean. There is one slight bad point, when cold it will sometimes take a bit to engage 1st but happens only once then it's fine. Price is $5500 ono.   3. Try some Mines/Mines copy cam cover baffles. Works wonders. If you are still getting alot of oil in the catch can id say excessive clearances.

  5. WTF? A company selling you a product that you have to potentially f#$k up to get it to work???? Surely they would get the relief cut into them in the manufacturing process or atleast when it arrives at their factory before sending out the customer.
  6. Looks like the holes on the flange were drilled way to close. Then again it bolts to the manifold. From memory dont Garrett housings have notches where the nuts clamp down?
  7. For the boost level it looks pretty good. Bigger injectors and E85 you will crack 500rwhp+ easy.

  12. My friends 25 head flows up to 750rwhp no dramas. Stock head with Poncams and springs. 25 ports are bigger than on a 26.

  15. You will need the report on you at all times. You will have to find who did the engineering of the car and get another copy. If he/they are a decent company they will have copies.
  16. Hi all, Getting my car back on the road soon and it will have new plates. So i thought i might take the opportunity to pick my own. Not after a custom one, just something subtle that a select few might understand and something most people wouldnt look twice at. Here is what i have come up with: SAU-33T SPL-30L JDM-30L NAG-47A RB-30-GT RB-3033 Any suggestions? Or just keep what the RTA give me.
  17. Ive been defected a few times for small things, however the last time (a year ago now) i was DECC'd. In that time the car was getting another overhaul so i wasnt really bothered. Now that the car is finished it will be hitting the road soon. Probably only to get done again in another couple of months all part of game unfortunately. But as Steve said, stay away from all the hot spots etc. I was just really unlucky to be pulled over by rogue HW patrols As for EPA/DECC there are 2 ways to pass, de-mod to the point that it passes or the "other" way

  19. Nope, but it did back to back runs for the 2 days...the stock rear shafts reached their limit.
