  1. updated, still want the other stuff gone... all offers considered!!
  2. yeah theyre gone, sorry mate
  3. I did mine by hand, sanded and polished... ill try get you some pics. My female friend thought shed touch up my old matte black front bar and got over spray all over the headlights, so we grabbed some thinners to wipe it off and it completely frosted em up. I used the technique mentioned above and they came up almost brand new!
  4. pretty sure he sprayed clear coat over the artwork. With headlights, if you want em to come out crystal clean, you can sand em back with 800 grit sand paper (wet and dry), then 1000, then 1500 then 2000. Make sure you spend a while on each grit and get an even surface finish. Then either spray clear coat over em, or polish them up with some plastic polish or metal polish. They come up brand new
  5. makes no difference. ive disabled a $1500 alarm/immobilizer within 4min before and im not even a professional... just did an automotive electrical course one time. (btw was mates car coz his immob was playing up) an experienced thief would have no problem at all.
  6. Im down marion way, someone else is after the rear seats. if it falls through ill let you know. cooler comes by itself with the air scoop, you should be ok with the front mount as long as its been installed neatly, no cuts through chassis rails and a neat hole for the cold pipe.
  7. some stuff sold, still got the rest
  8. he got his number haha as in it will probably be on the clearance sheet
  9. found a set that will do the job... all gd now
  10. Why cant you program nistune on an auto? the automatic ecu is a separate unit to the engine ecu... mine used to be auto, i looked at both the auto ecu and manual one and they are exactly the same. Anyways, bang for your buck, nistune. pfc is a good ecu but knock function is a fairly big downfall. if you know how to adjust maps on the go then thats fine but what if you have no clue, get a bad batch of fuel and dont take notice of it till its too late? thats where nistune wins it for me. as far as hand controller stuff goes, you can get a hand monitor for a nistune also. you cant change maps however you can see all the data like the pfc, and since the nistune adjusts map for knock etc you wont need the controller function anyways. There are plenty of nissan consult style hand monitors you can buy from j-land and locally too, shows you everything you need to know. Also, r33 ecus, you can get an external emulator to run the system. afaik only person selling and tuning them is Sam (Dr. Drift) in VIC but im pretty sure you can just buy the emulator and get it tuned locally.
  11. As above, after a set of decent 17x9 or 17x9.5 " wheels... nothing ridiculously priced tho, after a cheaper set.

Only progress pics as of now... Long way to go before the car is finished. Working too many hrs and its my only car so cant spend as much time on it as i would like to I know rears are not as good as i want em to be but f**k your offset... burrtos are everything! Specs if you dont know. Front 18x10 +7 234/40 2deg camber Rear 18x12 -4 265/35 0.5deg camber And now you know.
  22. size of wheels? offset? how far do they stick out of the guards? ive done 18x12 - 4 on my rears (33 though) and have been around 34's that had similar treatment so can give you a bit more of an idea. but first, specs
  23. nar brew do diz to it aye no but seriously, std gtr front bar is tough. anything else deserves a match and approx 20L of premium unleaded.
  24. the kms traveled counts how much the whole car has traveled, indicating wear to bushes, suspension components etc etc. Engine is classified in the same thing unless its been changed. At this point you see ads that say car traveled 120,000kms on the clock (meaning the chaissis etc) and engine 60,000kms (self explanatory).
