Heya mate, just thought id let you know... youre probably lucky that you didn't get the original car. Those type of fog lights ive seen before on a 33 gtr. They are unmarked police cars. Someone correct me if im wrong, but have seen listings for 2 others that have been ex cop cars in japan and both have had the quad foggies.

^ check your dash loom plugs in the spares car... i reckon theres the same type of plug there somewhere just dont remember where.

bunch of wussies as long as theyre not rose jointed and are single piece (no welding, whiteline, selbys) they will pass. mine are welded on the ends (kts) and the inspector had a talk to me about it and said that they should be removed because he doesnt have an engineers cert saying the welds were up to standard etc... and still passed me. last time i went through they were on there and had no problems at all.

Also one of the easiest alarms to get past if you know what youre doing But in saying that, no alarm is good enough to stop someone from taking your car that knows what theyre doing anyways...

they dont care bout forged internals. as long as youre running standard (or high flowed) turbo/boost/ecu and other emissions crap then youre fine.

if youre buying a cooler, just get a complete kit... dont bother with core alone then piping... ends up costing more then it should. most of the generic chinese shizz is pretty good these days so you shouldnt worry, but when it comes to suspension and turbos etc then thats where you buy jap brand stuff.

yeh i agree, if you drive like a dick then you deserve it but the amount of people who get done for doing nothing wrong far outweighs the ones that do...

totally not worth it... its not only the engine stuff you have to worry about, theres also these factors: gearbox (25de is basically an rb20 box which isnt optimal for a 25det) possibly tailshaft brakes fuel pump and other fuel delivery associated things engine loom may be different (pretty sure it is) ecu exhaust setup by the time you get all that done, you still have to take it through the pits and get it all "legal" although i personally wouldn't bother untill you get defected or something... sell up for what you can, and get a nice neat gts-t to replace it with.
