  1. wheelworx want $100 a corner to flare.
  2. square back square offset front ftmfw! jdm style
  3. Prestige plates are plastic. Consist of white numbers only printed on a black background. its a one off payment of $150 as above.
  4. no, they use the existing one. All it is, is a leather skin over the lid. You unbolt the lid, unscrew the inside bit, put leather cover over it, mess around with it till its all sitting right and screw the inside bit back in. Takes a bit of time and can be frustrating but looks great
  5. well my car is back together after some reconstructive surgery and she seems to be doing ok. no noises, no smoke. haven't done a compression test yet, ran out of time to take it to a workshop, but will do first thing tomorrow. the little rb lives another day! (hopefully)
  6. drove through a huge puddle of water like an idiot... should have slowed down but didn't think it was that deep. went from 60 - 10km/h in 3 seconds... then engine stalled. ended up sucking in water through the pod, milky engine oil, blowing smoke. head gasket is ok, coolant is fine, no bubbles and such, no discoloration. flushed engine 3 times, put new plugs in it, starts and runs fine but is blowing clear white/greyish smoke constantly. really hoping its just the condensation from all the water that went through it. last flush oil came up nice and clean, gonna put my regular synthetic oil in tomorrow morning and take it for a spin, see if the smoke clears out and then compression test it. if all else fails... 25/30 kicks in to motion.
  7. Well i f**ked my engine up yesterday... still patching it up. If compression test fails im out.
  8. almost a year since i bought my car... still love it to bits. got some new wheels for it this week and now i love it even more
  9. watch the last few corners... seen a couple cars roll before.
  10. oh and one more for good measure
  11. you have a pm
  12. haha thats fair enough, who did your guards?
  13. nah theyre not those wheels off ebay man... different set but same specs pretty much. i have no guards on, just standard ol dirty r33 body. And yeah i get what youre saying about the tyre going up in to the guards, as it is now it scrapes a little bit but well see man. Ill get em flared and get some camber on it see how that fits/drives, if its not what im after then ill get some new guards for it. I just dont like fiberglass as its like a cheap way out and you can never get the finish perfect, not to mention all fiberglass flares/kits for an r33 are dog ugly
  14. got em on, heres the details: work vs xx 18x10 front +13 18x12 rear unknown offset (there was no stickers on em and i couldn't be arsed measuring for now, just wanted em on) 20mm rear flare will just cover the tread on the stretched tyre but rim will still stick out, front will be fine with a 15mm flare. and nisskid, take a look at jms old r33 skid car, that had flared gtr guards on it... in fact i have a pic of it uploaded here: not many things make a 33 look good as its a very bubbly and weird shape to begin with, but those flares on gtr guards are hawwwt.
  15. got my new wheels in the garage... an export spray can never fit so well in the dish.
  16. no no no, frp fails. metal n plastic... oem ftmfw! flared gtr rear guards on the other hand
  17. well for some stupid obscene reason i took your advice today... picking up my new gestalts virogue's tommorow 18x7 +45 all round. fair good aye? NOT we shall see how they fit up first before i post it up p.s. if i cant physically fit these new wheels on im blaming it on you hahaha
