  3. 3/4 down the page http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...tml&st=2520 bsa au457 - http://www.bsawheels.com.au/users/ProductDetail.aspx?id=520 was looking for 1,400 but fairly negotiable...
  4. splitfires have been tested and proven, yellow jackets are probably the best ones for money out there. so far ive had the car up to 14psi on 1.1 plug gap with no problems. They came packaged properly, they fit perfectly and perform great. And you get warranty. For that money, not much more you can ask for.
  5. Nothing wrong with 17's... just that they don't fill the guards as well as 18's on an r33. If I had any other car i wouldn't bother with 18's at all.
  6. i would love to man but im really after 18's... and i gotta sell mine + 2 other sets before i can commit to some
  7. yeah pretty much perfect rim for a 33 too... been looking around for some dished bbs meshies but cant find anything, vs xx are as close as they come and even then hard to find in decent offset. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Work-Wheels-JDM-Dee...id=p3286.c0.m14 ^^ awesome bit excessive tho
  8. vs xx? such a hot rim and the offset is *drooool*
  9. a hydraulic jack, some jack stands, spare wheels and tyres, a tyre changing machine, mobile dyno, fully prepped race truck, some team promo girls that should do it.
  10. Hi guys, Unsure if I want to keep these rims or not (have my eye on another set) but if they don't sell I'm happy to keep them They fit great on an r33, but you need to run a 5mill spacer to clear the front calipers (will come with rims) Will fit most other imports and falcon etc.. Wheels: BSA AU-457 http://www.bsawheels.com.au/users/ProductDetail.aspx?id=520 front: 18x9 +35 tyre: Yokohama Avid 225/40 stretched 60% tread rear: 18x9 +35 tyre: Bridgestone Potenza 245/45 slightly stretched 30% tread (tyres were on another set of wheels before these hence the wear) Condition: As new, not a single mark on them... only had them on the car for approx 3,000kms if that. Price: $1400 ONO pm or sms 0422 314 938 Will swap for deep dish jap rims with cash adjustment either way, 18x9 and low offset preferred
  11. kits on r33 fail. low, decent jap rims in fat offset, slightly flared guards = win. ps. buy mine, they will look a lot better
  12. Isotta, momo, monza autotechnica (they also stock car specific adr rails too), and a shitload of others now... few years ago it was only momo. Most seats nowadays come with ADR approval (all of jjr range for example), however the rails is where youre stuffed. For a 2 door you must have reclineable seats unless its registered as a 2 seater. For a 4 door it can be either as long as its ADR approved with ADR approved rails. I asked the regency inspector last time i went through Funny how when i mentioned a roll cage i was given a list of 5 things that needed to be done, none of which had anything to do with the quality of the cage installed. For all they cared I could have gotten my dog to weld it in. Standards = FAIL

  14. OK guys, well thanks a lot for the imput but if we could stay on topic for the one I'm getting made up I'd really apreciate it as i dont want to have to read through hundreds other posts to see who might be interested The design is finalized, just need to know if anyone else wants one for the same price so I can point you in the right direction as I don't think they will be the same price afterwards. As for the heat soak, the material being used is heat treated and powdercoated which gives sufficient heat soak protection for what it is. If youre running a proper cold air pickup as you should, the difference in material is minimal when it comes to street car application. If youre building a race car then no, this probably isnt the best option but as a pod enclosure and heatshield on a street car its suitable, functional and pretty damn affordable. Also, as mentioned before the people doing the work allow for custom laser etching/engraving or cut outs too (bit extra, still finding out pricing but wont be a lot) which is an option you don't get with other airboxes available. I know that this will fit on an r33 for sure. Other models are a possibility, I would have to take a look under your bonnet but at this point id say it will most likely fit an r34, and rb25 stageas also. If you are definitely interested, PM me and I will pass on the details and you can discuss it with the people making it.
  15. go to a few importers or import wreckers, most are willing to help out with lending parts
  16. I'll ask, they will need a base car to take measurements etc for tho but if there's enough interest i don't see why not. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the airbox is all press bent so its basically a perfect finish and should bolt up to stock mounting points around that area.
  17. Dammit, this is torture So keen to go out again but will have no $$$ for a while... cashing out on the car. Put me down as maybe, might make the deposit due date but I doubt it.
  18. Hi guys, not sure where to put this as I'm not selling anything personally but just seeing who might be interested in an aftermarket airbox/heatshield. I'm getting one made up for myself locally out of stainless steel but thought some of you might be interested in this too so ill give you a run down of what I'm getting and if anyone is interested I can pass the details on to you... Basically its laser cut and made to sit in the passenger side corner behind the headlight, its got an opening through the side for the afm to attach to and have a pod on the inside as well as a cut out to clear the hot pipe for the inter cooler. I haven't got pics of it installed but I do have some 3d renderings which ill photoshop inside the engine bay later to give you a better idea. Price is around $130 for basic stainless steel airbox in either polished finish or powdercoated in a basic colour (black, white, red, blue etc) However, for a bit extra you can have custom metal finish (zinc, blue gold, chrome etc) or custom powdercoated colour as well as custom engraving or cut outs on the lid. pretty much anything can be done such as a forum user name, number plate, jap brand name etc... (all laser cut) I havent got exact pricing for all the extras but I can inquire about it if anyone wants it. If enough people are interested ill set up a group buy. Thanks - Marko
  19. I just ordered one to match the rest, will put pics up when i get it. for now these are my gear/handbrake boots, i like the ebay red stitch ones better then group buy (cheaper too hehe)... excuse the dirty interior
  20. *drumroll* and the plates belong to an 850i
  21. edit: double post
  22. viva used to sell fiberglass copies ^^ www.vivagarage.com.au, give them a call
  23. why not modify the s2 bar to fit on s1? that way you can have an aftermarket front bar on it without too much trouble and you wont get problems from boys in blue.
  24. lots of imports are reaching the 20yo mark these days too... the difference is majority who drive them dont skimp on services or fixing parts when they have to be... otherwise our wallets get raped in the long run. but yeh agree with rust buckets... seen a lot of banged up falcodores and smoking rusted sigmas cruise past cops with no consequence.
  25. all good points and they're useless anyways. go back a few pages and read through the same discussion.
