Yeah i had the cluster changed to manual and yes its still running auto diff, i prefer the higher gearing to manual one. Its only out by 3km/h at 60, and 5km/h at 100 (reads lower). Ive checked it out with a couple different gps units. With 18's on it reads perfect again so no problems there for me

OK well after finally getting in touch with my bro, it seems as though he bought the car off you Kristian haha... its a blue s15. he said you told him that it was all good and apparently only the guard was replaced due to something other than an accident? are you able to confirm this for sure? oh and do you have the auction sheet for it still, id like to have a quick look at it if that's ok well after seeing what kind of cars you bring in anyways, i have my faith in your work haha.

bit of an update to throw in here i ended up settling on twin 3" for track, but theyre quiet enough for street too, not much difference from old exhaust up until around 4k rpm... its just a deeper tone. Will be running no cat at the track tho so expecting loudness. video:

Well it gives me a basic idea anyways, does this rating stop it from being able to be complied? I know cars that have been in accidents etc cannot be complied. But as you mentioned removing pannels etc. gets the R rating so is it likely that it was damaged in an accident because as far as im aware the car he bought is dead stock? Sorry about the questions, i know its hard to answer when even i dont know the full circumstances but im just making sure my bro got a decent deal out of it hehe.

yeah i got mine from topgaiters (ebay) about 2 months ago... looks about a hundred times better... can get a pic if anyone is interested. mines black with red stitching.

ebay is a bit of a hit and miss... some may fit perfect, others wont. it comes down to manufacturing quality therefore china vs. japan (or a better factory in china again in some cases) i got a jjr one, for the price they are pretty good, fit up well and i haven't had any problems with it.

you can borrow mine if you want mate. im pretty sure its got a sticker on it but will double check tomorrow. ive also heard of people writing 80km/h with markers on em and what not to pass. seems dodgy but apparently works (dont take my word for it)

the bmw thing happened on the autobahn in germany at around 160mph. it was a deer.

i think hes running yellow jackets like me, i got 189.6 rwkw on 10psi (might have spiked higher, no readout on dyno chart). last dyno run i had 173 on 13psi without coilpacks or dump pipe. what plug gaps you running vu? my dyno chart is once again flat mid way... needs a good tune, think there's a few kw in there somewhere too, have a feeling it might crack 200 on 12psi.

seemed like a great day for the whole 30min i was able to attend stupid work, lucky i was able to squeeze my car in during the lunch break ahaha. Now all i need is a tune to get rid of the nasty flat spot mid way haha.

you need around 65-90 wrms to power the splits... so if that power rating is in wrms its more then enough

i have a mate with an r32 who might be interested if there are any free spots on the day. also got a permit to drive the car till regency on 20th so no worries there... will be rolling on 16s again tho haha. is anyone gonna be taking group photos? if so i might bring the 18's down and change em over quickly just for that.
