  1. nah was a private sale... my mate wanted to buy it.
  2. Since when? I test drove an rz tt supra about a month ago which wasn't regoed and the guy had a 24hr permit for it stuck on the window so i could test drive it.
  3. Those wheel arches and fitment on the coupe 60 bring ns.com wheel fitment thread to mind haha, i quite like it. The ve series holdens appeal to me for whatever reason, not a big fan of holden in general but their latest models have been top notch! One awesome garage there too in the first post!
  4. no worries, its because you haven't got more than 10 posts.. forum rules... hehe
  5. im 6'6 and am having the same problem... damn seats. thing is, has anyone modified the rail so the seat can slide an inch or two further back? the height is not the biggest issue for me although wouldn't mind getting a lower seat.
  6. YES. then get yourself some black wheels and slam it...
  7. 400r is the most common overdone kit on an r33... its got way too many openings and is a bit over the top on a gts/gtst only ever looked good on the gtr. get yourself a type-m kit and skirts, well fitting jap wheels and slam it to the ground. awesome
  8. also interested, is it a manual or auto one?
  9. read this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...nual+conversion its a good guide but will be slightly different in the r33 with wiring. i just went through all this and you will need to keep the automatic loom and re-wire it to suit the manual gearbox. things needed: manual gearbox clutch flywheel clutch master and slave + lines clutch and brake pedals manual gearbox cross member manual tailshaft manual throw out bearing manual dash cluster (automatic will work fine but only read 50% of the speed you're doing) manual gearstick surround and obviously all nuts and bolts etc..
  10. sure did mate! thanks for all your help really appreciate it goes so much harder with manual still keeping me over the moon hehe just need to swap out the dash cluster and were done.
  11. hmm very interesting, ive had my manual conversion done last week and am experiencing the same thing. i really do not think that its something to do with bearings or gears as otherwise it would be doing it at all times... had the throw out bearing replaced and everything checked out, was all fine. Really curious as to what it is, keep us posted
  12. +1 same result, put mine in yesterday. couldn't be more happier!
  13. o hi there, just got my car back 30min before you saw me... was giving it a quick clean
  14. nah, bought the conversion off ns.com from a dude, then got a workshop to install it. yeah it turned out that the manual conversion on r33's is a bit more involved than other nissans (32, 180sx, 200sx, silvia), in other cars you only swap over the auto loom to manual one, however r33 has different harnesses between auto and manual and you have to re-wire and make your own small loom. Its fairly straight forward from what the mechanic told me, just gotta know which wires to use and which ones to remove. The car is running great again loving the manual!!!
  15. type m ftw! and good to see i made it on to the entrants list time is fine too. cant wait to see what it pulls with the manual in it
  16. gotta check your front tyre while you're rolling it... you know, just in case.
  17. LMAO hell yehh brazzz just take the rear brakes off completely, one completely well thought out plan of attack there... the less you got on, the less they can defect you for right? who cares about 300% increased chance of death. and sadly this is still happening, i see tossbags with rear brakes locked quite often, generally try keep a distance of at least 10km away at all times.
  18. cheers for the effort dude! i had a look at that thread before but unfortunately the plugs and wires are different for the r33 ill just have to wait it out till Monday and get the mechanics to sort it out.
  19. looks good! where do i sign?
  20. Ahh ok thanks for all the info! You wouldn't happen to know which wires were connected from the automatic loom? I'm guessing the connections would have been made at the gearbox end but just in case they did them at the harness where the washer bottle is, are you able to tell me which wires are still connected if you got the time? If its at the gearbox end then don't worry about it, dont want to trouble you. I know that the wires needed are: reverse lights, inhibitor switch, speedo, but no one ive talked to knows which wires from the automatic trans loom go to these.
  21. no worries, just don't forget to roll the sleeves down before entering the track, i got a mouth full last time
  22. cotton hoodies are fine.. they dont really mind as long as you got something covering your body. last time I was out i just wore a hoodie and had no problems. have fun tonight!
  23. ill take a couple if you got any left over? haha
  24. i got mine off performance wise, delivered on Tuesday... haven't had a chance to put them in yet. They look and feel like a quality product tho.
  25. +1 but only worth doing it yourself if yu know what youre doing I've got quite a good understanding with auto electrics so wiring isnt a problem. Anyways ive been probing the automatic loom and found out that the plugs on the auto have different components connected to em compared to the same plugs in the manual loom. I think the best thing to do is to use the automatic loom and auto trans plugs but re wire them to work with the manual, that is isolate all the wires except reverse lights, inhibitor and speedo, and make a new loom that joins them together. Dammit nissan... theres never an easy way out
