  6. Which part of town you from? If South, Caltex on Cross Rd. (261 Cross Road CUMBERLAND PARK SA 5041) charged me $85 last time i hired one for 24hrs which was a couple months ago now...
  7. yeh that's bad, you're meant to take it off and use the proper cleaning stuff. otherwise youre just clogging the filter and pushing dirt through it

  10. usually around $80 for 24hrs
  11. Thats Chris's r32 gtst, sounds very mean especially on boost love the car!
  12. Oh btw, have you considered a remap? What is your ideal power goal? Lets say you wanted 300rwkw in the end. Save up and buy all the parts you need for that goal, there's plenty of info on here. Buy everything you need, put it all on at once and get a one off remap. In SA most people use r32 ecu's remapped for the rb25, you loose vct but the overall gain is a lot bigger anyways. I personally don't know that many people who have bought a PFC, did everything they wanted to and then kept getting it re-tuned. Usually they just get a proper tune and leave it. 2k wasted imo, considering a remap with r32 ECU retails around $500 these days including the tune (in SA anyways).
  13. Hmm, yours seems very low for those mods. My s1 auto pulled 173rwkw with pod filter 12.5psi with turbotech boost controller hybrid fmic 3.5" Trust cat back and lots of misfire due to coil packs... (hence why dyno curve is shit) got a 3" split dump and high flow cat ready to go in and waiting for some coil packs... it should make close to 200rwkw with all that.
  14. check ebay for brand new leather gear and handbrake boots.. http://shop.ebay.com.au/?_from=R40&_tr...-All-Categories

  19. If the conversion was done using GTR body panels and all the spacing is correct then a GTR bar will fit. If it was done using GTS-T panels etc, then just go in to viva garage and get a GTR copy front bar for a GTS-T for $280

If you were to get a compressor + spray kit ($300ish) and bought about 4-5L of primer ($50 - $150), bunch of sanding paper from 200 - 800 girt dry and 1500 wet n dry (probably around $80 to do the whole car) and just took your time doing it, you will save thousands. They charge you a lot more for labor to prepare it for spraying than the actual job... And if you end up getting quite handy with the spray gun, why not give it a go spraying some color on it? I wouldn't recommend spraying 2Pac in your garage unless you got a proper extraction system, breathing protection (not just your typical mask either) and a baking system (65-80 degrees C) as 2pack has very dangerous chemicals in it and needs the heat to harden properly. Search "isocyanates" to find out about dangers. It pays to DIY, Ive done a complete rear quarter of my old car after my mate slammed in to it with his motorbike (he was ok). Cost me: $20 for ebay hammer and dolly set (for dents to be pulled out) $25 for bog $20 for cans of primer and spray filler $10 in different types of sand paper $40 for an eclectic sander tool (small cheapy from bunnings, worked fine) ~ used it for preparation only, final work should always be done by hand before spraying. I did it bit by bit over 4 weeks and got the curve perfect (hit right on the body line about 1.3m long and half car down), primed it with spray cans, about 4 coats in total (wet sanding between each) and got my painter to spray the colour which cost me $100 All up $215 Quotes i got to fix it were between $1100 - $1,800
  24. broken(not in a million pieces) or cracked r33 s1 headlights... donation or cheap.
  25. What are the dimensions? If its 600x300x76 or bigger then no, you will have to slightly trim the reo bar. Not sire for r34 but i haven't seen a single r33 with a big intercooler that didn't need it trimmed.
