yeah you can flare them with it but you gotta go slow and force it bit by bit... the grey/black silvia that i posted a pic of had it done with it im pretty sure, check out his build thread.

if it didn't have the gay airbrushed graphics, doors and bonnet opened normally, the wheels were black and no neons... it could have been a nice car. i dont mind the interior that much but it would have looked better with black suede and pearl black speaker surrounds. if it was mine it would be half stripped, caged, black on black with cf bits everywhere and a helmet in place of a missing passenger seat

what type controller and what type of boost gauge? i did both mine, can guide you through it if you want... pretty bussy this week so cant really give you a hand.

im looking along the lines of 9"-10" wide, but nothing too crazy offset wise. flares most probably wont be needed but.. i also love the looks wheelworx want $100 per corner with about 12-15mm lip max. thats a lot of lip but bit pricey. Ive seen another ghetto way of doing them with a car jack.. haha don't know if i got the balls to attempt that or the jap way myself. oh yeh they do! hence why i dislike the guards... looking at viva garage website though, their type M1 doesnt look too hard to glass up. decent price too!

Ahh I see, I'm not chasing too much power, id be happy with around 250ish at the wheels with response on standard block... trying to get the car setup for track/hill climb. Working on a budget and xr6t gt3540's seem to go fairly cheap.

how much of a difference would cams and cam gears make? sorry to steal your thread but since its about lag and power how would a gt3540 off an xr6t go on an rb25?

ok great, thanks guys. as i said i dont care about the paint cracking, it doesnt bother me as some of you might have noticed at the dyno day that its in very poor condition and has scratches everywhere. Only thing im worried about is the panel denting above the flare once its done as i don't really want to have to bog it and what not. Can they do front guards as well? i have a feeling that if they tried it would screw the gaps between door and bonnet as its not the same as rear quarter, its bolted in up front... I might need to get GTR ones and see if they fit.

heard the same too bout rotors, i have some qfm a1rm 750deg pads sitting here but thought i might just as well get new rotors as i reckon i have to get mine machined and the pads will probably chew through them quicker anyways. my car is far from perfect haha, only reason i missed this is coz my pads are so bad that after about 5min through twisties they fade... and are getting low too so yeh. not to worry, will have a few more goodies by next month, think its on the 17th if i recall correctly. and yes i am calling you a bastard haha looks good tho

... and no, not that kind. So anyways, I'm getting a respray sometime later in the year and want to do a bit of body work before that. Ive called a few panel beaters and asked about getting my guards pumped out a bit, nothing ridiculous, just a bit out and slightly flared if you know what i mean. However most places said they don't have the tooling to do it or gave me crazy quotes. Now i don't want to put those fiberglass flares and what not because I don't like them and am not going to be kitting my car, just clean modified look with a nice set of racing light weights to finish her off. So who knows someone that knows what they're doing and can do the job properly? I don't particularly care about the paint cracking as its already stuffed (hence the respray), I just want the right look and the option of shoving wider rims on it when i take it out around the track. and, im also considering this as crazy at it looks.. seems to work out for him (im talking about the pole bit mid - end)

ok whos the bastard with stripes? i was gonna get something similar but a bit more subtle with mine after the respray looking great there guys! how many laps did the stock brakes last and did anyone run a brake cylinder stopper? anyone run coilovers and what settings worked out for you? soft/hard etc? my setup is mainly concentrated on brakes and suspension, power later on.

so who went out today? seemed like decent weather for a track day.
