r33 s1.5 (or m-spec) front bar r33 dump pipe r33 high flow cat pm me with what you got
-
got a fire extinguisher? pretty sure you need one mounted within reach from drivers seat. and for me things are starting to look like i might be missing this one, called a few shops up, everyone needs to order the discs coz no one stocks em (down south anyways) and im not taking it without decent brakes ffs.. was really looking forward to this.
-
haha you told me bout em hey? yeh its the waste spark setup ones, ill give em a go and see what theyre like... if they hold up might end up sticking with it. They cost me $65 brand new for the whole set (procomp) off ebay. They look and feel quality made, will see how they go.

Its a grip day. Yeah i got vy commie coil packs waiting to go in, should fix the misfiring. Its a cheap fix over splitfires but should work till i save up for some decent gear. They're said to handle up to 28psi boost which is nowhere near what I'm running so I'm hoping it works out. Whats wrong with your car? Mines worse than yours + auto
-
I have already paid for mine but as i said they wont be here till late next week so I'm looking to buy some locally if they're available... need a full set (front + rear) Have got my coil packs sitting here ready to be put in, as well as BA falcon thermo fans. Should be able to have everything in before Sat, but getting parts is a problem.

Heya guys, who's going out to mallala this weekend? I have been waiting on my new slotted rotors but no luck does anyone know where i can get some new ones (cheap) before saturday? I am fairly strapped for cash as I've already bought some which are on their way but wont be here till late next week... and that's no good. Got qfm a1rm pads waiting to go in with rotors too. Fire extinguisher ready to go in. Anything else i need? Cams approved battery & tow stickers?

I wont say anything as I've already expressed myself on here with similar discussion before so, RIP, and to the other driver and occupants hope they pull up ok after this. We all make bad decisions, some are worse than others. Condolences to Minhs family and all those affected.

Do You Still Self-maintain Your Car?
SkyHi_33 replied to dirzsignature's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Another industrial designer here (2nd year) I do everything on my car myself apart from tuning and wheel alignments as mentioned above. What you're planing on doing is a good idea however there is already a whole bunch of products in that area of the market. Most high spec tool companies have tool sets and storage already quite efficient. I guess your biggest selling point here however is price as the ones just mentioned are up in thousands of $$. If you can make it strong enough but keeping it reasonably affordable, you got yourself a good product. Also another thing id like to mention, think of places in peoples garages where they don't have too much room. Things like slide doors or roll up doors on the cabinet could be much more space efficient. and another thing, (b1) mr fanny is on to an important thing, if you're making this garage specific then you will most likely have to integrate car gadgets in there, as looking in to my own and other peoples garages you will find people just stack stuff up on metal shelves or have old wardrobes and cabinets. Guess what I'm trying to say is if what you're really making is just another "cabinet" that looks pretty, it will have your average do it yourself guy wandering if its worth justifying spending x amount of money on it as face it, most of us do it to save money in first place. -
Best Sub $10k Performance Nissan?
SkyHi_33 replied to mooseman's topic in General Automotive Discussion
personal top picks: 200sx, useless you want passenger comfort. If you're just gonna drive your missus around than its fine otherwise no go. r32, less of these in good condition around, imo they look tougher than r33's but are getting old now r33, more torque and power achievable than r32, bit heavier but also more comfortable, most room out of all cars however as nisskid said, if you're planing on carrying a lot of stuff in the boot... not really gonna happen. I went for an r33, simple because its a newer car and its more versatile, it will cruise along like a family car yet if you feel like it it has the power too. Only downside is its the most common import, but if you think about it that cant be a bad thing (well unless you want to really stand out). Although lately I've started to notice r34's flooding the market and the r33's are having the same fate as r32's now... keep seeing less of em. -
my first car i learned on was a 91 ford laser KF L's - EL falcon, no real reason just wanted a car till i could afford something better P's - 2 months after the EL i bought a 90 KF ford laser tx3 4wd turbo (this thing was mint, service records and receipts since new, had big plans but was a shame to tear it up. Last i heard someone who has an r34 GTT bought it as a daily, anyone on here?) I fixed it up untill there was nothing that needed fixing then sold it in pretty much original condition. 2 years later i sold it, needed something to get around on so bought a bike CBR250R, used this as daily rain or shine for 9 months and modified the shit out of it. 4 months ago i bought my r33 for $5,800 and since fixed it up and got a bunch of mods, there is a lot more coming in the next 2 months or so... aiming for around 260ish at the wheels pics

the cars brakes work? you could always get a mate in another car to pull you along.. its only 7 kms.
