  7. need a set of r33 gts-t shocks and springs (or just shocks) to borrow or buy before saturday 20th. Need these for defect, my standard shocks are fubar and I most likely wont be able to get new ones in time. will pay money to borrow for a few days. pm please
  8. not sure, wasn't there.. was ripping my cars suspension out at home.. the ceffy also went up another cars arse from the vs too. that wasn't really damaged so he took off. Ceffy had to be towed home coz the radiator was pushed on to the fan i think. I got there about 40min after it happened, the vs is a write off for sure, ceffy didn't look tooo bad but couldn't really tell till the bumper etc was off. The ceffy owner used to have an r32 so pretty sure hes around here somewhere...
  9. Full set of R33 GTR Vspec-2 shocks and springs. Bought these as seller assured me they'd fit on my gts-t but was not the case. Very good condition, no leaks, cracks, not bent etc.. Have no use for these, I paid $350 all up... willing to let them go for $300ono, make me an offer. PIC: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y33/kfsRule_2/DSCF0203.jpg BRAND NEW 520x-ring JT conversion for Honda CBR 250R/RR Included are: - 14 tooth front JT sprocket - 48 tooth rear JT sprocket - 520 pitch x-ring JT "Asahi" chain The sprocket kit gives you lots of take off but reduces top speed to around 160. wheelies 1st and 2nd without much effort. Great solution if you want more go for your underpowered 250r/rr. Beats any other mods by miles. All quality parts, never used. I bought 2 sets by mistake... retail at $250+ Chasing around $220ono, make me an offer. PIC: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y33/kfsRule_2/DSCF0202.jpg
  10. Hi guys, Im looking at maybe getting a set of coilovers soon and don't have $3k to fork out on a really good set new, so I've been looking around the second had market for a while but am not really sure what to look for when trying to find a decent set. So what are signs of abuse (apart from oil everywhere) and how long do coilovers usually last without rebuilds etc? Im talking about good brands here, not cheap stuff. Also, instead of starting a new thread, I know that a good shock/spring setup is a lot better for street so is there anyone out there that has found a good match between the two for very good handling and feel on the street? Im unsure if I should get a new set of shocks/springs or second hand coilovers.
  11. yeh my mate rammed the ceffy in his vs... everyone suddenly went on the brakes n he didnt have enough time to stop.. (his story anyways) my other mate almost went up his arse too in his s14.
  12. Thanks a heap mate, really appreciate it!

  14. Hi guys, Im in need of a picture of the r33 gtr tyre placard that's found on the inside door sill on the drivers side. If someone could spend a couple minutes taking a pic of both (jap and australian sticker) and posting it up, id greatly appreciate it! I need this asap. cheers!
  15. ^ +1 on HPI mags... thats what got me reeeaaallly in to them as well.
  16. Always liked the gtr since i was about 11ish, 32 was and still is my favorite. I couldn't afford anything great when i got my licence so had the good ol' EL falcon for a whole 2 months before I grabbed myself a ford laser tx3 turbo. My bro got me in to them as he had (still has) one and I loved driving it. AWD 1.8 Turbo no computer controlled bs, was pure driving at its finest. Couple years down the track it was time to sell up as the old girl was getting a bit too old for me. I went to riding my motorbike for 6 months every day rain or shine saving up for an r33 because i liked them for their engine and simplicity, and it is more comfortable for a taller bloke. Then I spotted a decent r33 for sale cheap. Went to see it thinking its gonna be a complete thrashed out pos but turned out to be a very straight car that needed a bit of tlc. $5,800 later here I am. Ryans service done, and $100 set of r33 gtr shocks n springs and shes going hard again. All the money I've saved up on top will soon be put in to modifying this beast, I just gotta make my mind up on all the details. 3-4 years from now id like to see myself in a clean r34 gtr... the 32 will always stay in my heart but old is old and best kept to those that can constantly keep it up to spec.
  17. will be keeping my eyes out for it
  18. thirty two ftmfw! but if i was paying for it id do what he did ^ r35
  19. it really depends on how many are sold and what the demand is like on the second hand market. and seeing as there are only limited amounts being sold it means that its gonna be a while before they break the 100k mark.
  20. "as any police officer knows, crooks can be elusive, and we are the last people they want to see. They will avoid you at all costs. They speed up, change lanes, hide in front of and behind trucks, and try not to be detected for whatever their guilty conscience tells them they have done wrong." cool, im such a criminal for buying a modified car. cant believe a cop wrote that... go catch real criminals. glad he got fined, at least he knows how it feels.
  21. wow, nice time. what kind of mods are you running with the rb30? im looking at building one up in not too distant future but don't wanna spend a fortune on it.
  22. +1 very interested.
  23. Got one, thanks Jack.
  24. factory bov ftw! just got mine today from a member on here, engine feels like it runs much better, starts up easier and no more idling issues. still makes noise through the pod which is annoying...
