I got an electric one i picked up from a pawn broker about a year ago... went through a bit of water and killed the receiver, just ordered a new one. I have no idea what it is, if someone knows their RC cars etc, please do let me know... its got Traxxas gear inside it with a traxxas remote but i cant find any info on it??

Not necessarily welded, i registered mine as a 2 seater and put a half cage in, had to remove seats, seat belts and put the bolts back in to the seat belt bolt holes. Reason they want them filled (welded, or bolt put back in) is because they are used in the integrated chassis as part of a crunch zone. Leaving them open weakens the stress points in that part of the chassis. Thats what i was told when i put mine through.

Only problem I found with Willal is they dont tune nisstune chips... called a couple times both times told no, they dont like fiddling with nisstune and tuning chips, prefer stand alone units. Otherwise, most recommended workshop around both in reputation and quality (products and workmanship)

NA box is rb20 gearbox. Turbo box is... turbo box GTR box is rb25 turbo box with transfer case to make it awd GTR box with transfer removed is a cheap rb25 box. (will need different coupling for tail shaft) GTR/gts4/rs4 gearbox = $800(avg), to convert to rwd $150 - 200 rb25det box = $1500 (avg) you do the math.

meh... bought it played it for a bit. nothing special. what f**ks me off is that you cant even change wheels on "standard" cars and even though they've been transported from gt4 where you could. like come on, so many years in development and you can only really do the same shit as gt3 to majority of the cars... game play is pretty similar to gt4. overall tho its not bad... but nowhere near as good as it should have been. username speedy_tx3 or skyhi_33 (i cant remember which username is on it atm lol)

Just need to have a chat with someone regarding some bodywork... doing it all myself but need a wee bit of guidance with some bits and pieces. Yes driver ability does come in to play, considerably too at times, but having a laggy setup versus a stockish responsive setup also has its perks. Suspension setup is also a crucial element when taking cornering ability in to play. Gtr being awd or not, with just a set of coilovers in it does not mean it will handle better than a standard factory set up. It comes down to alignment, both static and dynamic, stiffness, rebound, and overall coilover setup matched to the road conditions, tyres and power output of the engine, and more importantly the way the power is delivered... and a lot more of where that comes from. Im not saying im keiichi tsuchiya by any means, far from it (i tend to stack in to things often) but I do spend my time figuring out how to make the most out of my suspension and i do occasionally really push my car when i can, am alone and is safe to. The above post had nothing to do with me measuring my dick against everyone else etc. i do apologize if it comes across that way, there is too many variables as to why it happened. I was merely trying to put a point out there about different car setups delivering different outcomes.
