I'd be interested to know aswell. I've got an rb20det, and i've heard that putting rb20de cams in will be a good upgrade. I'm not sure why tho... But getting back to the topic, from what i just asked, would rb25de cams be an upgrade for a turbo'd 33, and if so, why? Matt.

FMIC & Turbo
5 litre eater replied to Spoolup's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
i'll be interested in the cooler soon, when i've got the dollars... just a few questions: what car was it on and for how long? any damage to the fins/tanks/core? If it was on an rb20, would i be able to buy the piping aswell? Cheers. Matt -
In reply to deorbit and inark, it was the maroon/burgandy one... nearly stock, but chip, great exhaust note and yes, the powder coated rims came with it too. I think they look great. And inasnt, unless Sam ****ed the engine (don't worry mate, i know you didn't ), it was fine, and is definitely in very good working order now. Just had a few minor thing to attend to, like the back left wheel needed a little work after she was put slightly out of allignment... hehehehe

qikshift, i know exactly what you mean! I just picked up my new 32 from Dr_Drift. It still hasn't sunk in that i now own a skyline!!! It's awesome. First thing, FMIC. And as for you meggala, thank you for all your help on my car too. You and Sam have just made my dream come true!!!!!

with the cost of a turbo kit for an NA skyline, you'd be better off just getting a turbo'd car. There are heaps around, just have a look in the cars for sale section. But if your budget is stretched for an r33, and r32 is a really good car too. Good luck mate.

If anyone can find a copied kit that looks like that, let me know ASAP!!!!! That is the hottest kit i have ever seen on an R32. If someone can find one before July 6th, i know what i'll be buying for my 22nd... Good luck lads n' lass's

5 litre eater replied to phat32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I am very interested in the cooler and piping, and i just saw you have an alarm too. What features has it got? 2/3 point immobiliser? Central Locking? Was it on your car? Could you please PM me with the lowest prices you will go for both items? Cheers. Matt. -
FS: R32 Performance Parts & PC!
5 litre eater replied to phat32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey man, Just wondering if the 3" piping for the cooler will be too laggy for a stock engine, coz i'm very interested... And secondly, the dump pipe, is it stainless? If so, i'm very keen again! Cheers. Matt. -
Dragan, can you please PM me a price and some more detail about them? (eg age, kms they've been on the car, etc) I'm looking around for coilovers too...

Pushead, sounds like you need a wheel balance something shocking! I'm not trying to be a hero, but in my sil, i can go 180 no worries on stock suspension (in controlled environments of course!!! hahaha) Take your car to a place like Bob Jane or Beaurepairs and get a wheel balance. Pretty sure stock suspension should be that bad!

R32 GTS-T Manifold Flange
5 litre eater replied to justified2.4's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
A really good, simple upgrade is to put an R33 or even R34 turbo on. I know SuRReal is selling one on www.nissansilvia.com He wants $480 for it, and that's pretty reasonable. Good for about 200kw's at the rears when done properly. -
I think Meggala is on to something there. A blacktop SR out of an S14 would be great. I know heaps of silvia's are puttin RB's in, but i think i know of about 2 R32's with SR's under the hood. Will raise a few eyebrows i'd say. Add the usual Ricey features, a few cheap bolt on's, and Bob's ya uncle... Good luck with whatever you choose. (GO THE SR20!!!)

Another really good guy to speak to is Geoff Risbey. He is the manager of Prestige Motorsport. I haven't used them myself, but i know from a large number of people that they are really good. The company is located in Perth, and Geoff really knows what's going on. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au

Hey peoples, www.rb20det.com/tuningguide.html Don't know if anyone has seen this before. I stumbled across this site and thought it might be of interest for the lucky buggers with an rb20det under their hood...

Hey peoples, I've just got myself an r32, and i'm looking to buy a front pipe/dump pipe for the car... Preferably 3", stainless, and i'm hoping it can be one pipe, rather than seperate parts. I'm in melbourne, and will most likely pay cash. Didn't want to go interstate, but for the right price and right parts, i will. Plus, willing to swap stock bits for anyone who may be selling their car and want a little extra cash. Please PM me, or e-mail to [email protected] Cheers. Matt.

AVC-R for sale
5 litre eater replied to NissTrust's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Ballistic, i would REALLY like to know where you are getting an AVC-R from, for $600!!!!! (I presume you are talking about the blue screen...) Fair enough if it's second hand, but for 600, that's a bargain. I'm looking for one too, but don't have the 800+ they USUALLY cost -
Thanks for that steve... I would love a 2530 one day, but gimme a little time! If anyone has one for sale around the $500 mark, let me know!!! (I'm optomistic...) But the FMIC will go in. I think it already has a bleeder/control in it, so is there something else? realisticly, i will have about 800 left from that 2k, so what should i do? Get the fuel systems upgraded? Eg, bigger fuel pump, injectors, etc? Or should i focus on a little more handling? Get adjustable shocks? Thanks for the advice lads and lass's.

sweet as! thanks lads...

Hey all, I'm about to buy an r32 gts-t, and i would like some advice on what to do... I will have about 2 grand to tinker with, and the car already has a cat back zaust, boost gauge/controler, and a few little bits Dr_Drift is throwing in with it. If anyone can give me a few ideas on what to do, it would be great. Cheers. Matt.

For Sale: Nissan 180SX 1992 with Skyline RB20
5 litre eater replied to nazgul's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Could you please send some pics to [email protected] too please. especially interior and engine bay if possible.... -
Hey all, For anyone who is looking for a mechanic in Victoria, i STRONGLY recommend BMT. I had my car in for a full service today, they ended up fixing my BOV pipe, advancing the timing from 0 or even less (what another big name turbo house set it to!) and generally were really great guys to talk to. I can not stress how good my car feels after today. If anyone has a Japanese import, an australian nissan (200sx, s15 etc...), a turbo'd car, or for that matter, any performance vehicle, go see Benny, Sam (aka Dr_Drift) and the boys down at BMT. Benny: 0417334769 Sam: 0411878961 They are in Richmond now, but should be moving to their new location in Fairfield in about a week or two. Matt.
