  1. Hi all, I'm about to throw a set of 2860's on my GTR and was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what size of oil restrictor they used? Mine are a second hand set and it looks like they don't come with in-built restrictors. Should I use a restricted banjo bolt to the engine, or should I run a small restrictor in each turbo?? I know some peeps have been running in-line 0.035" restrictors.. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  2. Just letting you all know that the manifold along with remaining bits and pieces will be listed on ebay later today, cheers
  3. Bump! Common peoples, surely someone can make use of the manifold!
  4. ======= Turbo and wastegate are sold, pending payment. =========== Manifold and other goodies still available
  5. Bump... Thinking of maybe selling items individually, any interest?
  6. Hi all, I've done a bit of searching on here but haven't quite found what I'm looking for. I've been working on my correction maps and axillary outputs after having had my base maps done professionally. Is there anyone out there who's willing to share their BAC / Idle control settings with me? What I currently have looks like this - it works OK, but could be better. The two numbers for each setting are Cold and Warm, as per 'OutputPWM2' under 'Auxillary Output Options': Temp range: 60.1 80.1 Target RPM: 1200 1000 Start duty cycle: 65% 50% Min duty cycle: 30% 30% Post start duty cycle offset: 15% 15% Idle target dead band: 40rpm Decel rpm rate: 25rpm Decel to idle control wait: 1 second On throttle duty cycle: 25% Currently I'm using mainly fuel correction maps to control engine when it's cold...but would much rather use BAC as much as posible to make things a bit more economical. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
  7. Here are some photos of the manifold's collector / flange as requested. The flange plate itself measures 108x66.4mm while the stud spacing measures approx 86x44.5mm centre to centre. Hope this helps but please note, I really would prefer to sell this as one full kit as complete as possible. I still have parts left over from my last sale.
  8. The rear is .82 I was making 352hp at wheels on a very safe tune at around 1 bar. Just ran out of money at the time to be able to run turbo at it's efficiency which would have been between 18 and 20 pounds, equaling around 400hp at the wheels on a decent tune. Response was actually good for a big turbo....little bit laggy below 3500 but once above that it ramps up hard and doesn't drop off.
  9. Pic of GT30 setup in my 1995 R33 GTR
  10. Piranha, I'm not too sure about how things would fit inside the R32's engine bay. There was plenty room to spare either side of the turbo in my R33. I'm pretty sure that manifold wise and so forth, everything should bolt up. One would really have to check manifold stud spacing just to be certain I've been trying out all sorts of turbo sizes and configurations - so far it seems to be a draw between the N1's and GT30 but can only run one or the other The GT30 came on a bit harder (big single style) while the N1's seem to be more linear.
  11. Hi all, Up for grabs is my full GT30 high mount setup that I ran on my R33 GTR for no more than 2000km. Am selling this setup because I'm now running a set of N1 turbos and no longer need this kit. I would prefer to sell this as one complete setup with pick-up being the preferred option (for obvious reasons!) I'm asking $3000 for the full kit that is guaranteed to fit onto your RB26, clearing strut tower, strut bars, cam covers and front drive train etc. The turbo was only run at 15 pounds and although it doesn't require it, was always idled for 1 minute prior to engine shutdown. Breakup of the prices are below, with original costs in brackets. 1. Garrett GT3076 ball bearing turbo .....$1400 ($1840) 2. Custom built tuned-length manifold with external gate mount.....$900 ($1350) 3. Mandrel bent 3" dump pipe (I have a stainless and mild steel item for you to chose from)..... $100 ($300) 4. Tial Sport waste gate ..... $350 ($455) 5. New Pod filter, air intake pipe, braided oil feed line, oil drain hose, flange plates, dump pipe clamps ..... $250 Feel free to send me a PM or 0413 893 942 if you have any queries at all.
  12. I'm in! I'll have a +1 too
  13. Hi there, I take it that the N1's are still up for grabs? Just wondering if they fit on R33 GTR stock manifolds (I know that R32 and 33 are interchangeable but not so sure about R34's) Thanks, Tom
  14. Hey Chris, finally got onto this tread! Yep, mine's the white 33 gtr
  15. Hi all, I've been looking around on the net and also on here but can't really find much info...so I'm just posting on here hoping for some feedback Just wondering what the ignition advance is meant to lower itself / or raise itself to when you come onto boost? I've received a bit of conflicting info that even in conflict with the R33 service manual! For example, the advance is meant to be 21 degrees +/- 1 deg. at 900rpm +/- 50 rpm.......but, some say 10, some say 15. However, my main question is, what should these figures be when you're up in the rev's on boost. I'm running an E11v2 and have been doing some logging and have noticed that it has quite high advance. I'm running stock turbos, bosch 044 pump, stock injectors, 13 pounds, e11v2, pods, 3.5" exhaust. The car makes approx 340 whp If anyone could shed some light on this that would be greatly appreciated...
  16. Haha that looks almost as bad as my one....remember guys....my beautiful brand new GT3582 that came with thrashed turbine blades?
  17. Sorry buddy, turbo sold quite some time ago. If you come across one and you need some pipework let me know (refer to photos above). Cheers Tom
  18. Wow srbskyline.....what else can you see in your crystal ball?
  19. Ok peoples, here are the photos of my remaining bits and pieces I had made up to suit the GT35 on RB26. 1. Y-pipe for when you want to use your two AFM's in a single turbo configuration eg. with a Power FC or similar ECU that requires your factory AFM's. I'm not selling my AFM's just yet as it's not a bad idea to have these and the factory computer etc. Please also note that the "shortened" mushroom filters are included in the sale. They have been adjusted so that they can be bolted straight to the AFM as it gets quite tight with the GT35 (see engine pic below) - all silicon joiner pieces and hose clamps included. The pipe also features ventilation hose and fitting - you can fit anything to this. 2. Turbo to factory intercooler pipework. This will suit any GT35 to factory intercooler configeration - all silicon joiner pieces and hose clamps included. The pipe sits roughly the way I'm holding it in the photo. Drop me a message if your interested in these remainders. Y-pipe + pods + joints -$100 (cost about $250, excluding joints and filters, to have made up and is similarly priced online) Intercooler pipe + joints -$80 (cost about $150 to have made up, excluding joints) Again, these pieces are made to suit the GT35r when installed in a R33 GTR's engine bay with stock intercooler. Cheers, Tom
  20. Hey all, just letting you know that the turbo has been sold. Never expected it to sell this fast and best of luck to those who too have shown interest. The manifold is still up for grabs for those who want to at least get some of the gear together. In response to some questions I've had.....yes, the turbo and the manifold came off my car and fitted neatly. I only had to relocate the power steering reservoir and that was practically it. Also, as far as other little bits and pieces go, I have a custom made Y pipe to fit the two airflow meters/pod filters if you want to do a twin to single conversion on your RB26 but keep the air flow meters. This is usually the case if you use Power FC's (unless using de-jetro version etc). I'll post up some pics of this tomorrow (comes with all silicone joiner pieces to suit RB26 AFM's and GT35 0.70 front cover). The other pipework I had made up is a piece that links the compressor outlet to the factory GTR intercooler inlet - again, all joiner pieces included. Will post up pics tomorrow incase someone's interested.
  21. That's some impressive figures Bigme....not bad at all! You must've spent a fair bit on upgrades for the engine though! I'm staying within the factory limits for the time being....350 or so at the wheels isn't too shabby on the track and street ;-) Just out of interest though, how does the GT35 on yours come on song? Is it a .82?
  22. Nah mate, I got mine with a internally gated setup. I didn't get any other housings with it. The manifold has also been adjusted to suit this.
  23. Yeh I know...ohwell...turned out to be a bit more expensive than I thought it would be. Not all is lost but because I still got the E11 and everything in there so it just has to be tuned for a set of 2560's or the likes ;-) The GT35 is definitely 400hp+ territory if you want to use it properly hey
  24. Here's the add in the For Sale section.....anyone trolling through this thread looking for a brand new GT35r, please have a look here!
  25. Hi all, Up for grabs is my near new Garrett GT35r with 0.63 exhaust A/R and matching top mount manifold to suit RB26 engines. This turbo has only done around 350-400km as I've been forced to convert my R33 GTR back to twin setup (for financial and insurance reasons). Unfinished project etc. The turbo has a 0.70 front and is internally gated (actuator included in sale as per the pictures) The turbo's peak efficiency lies around 17 to 18 pounds and is suitable for around 500hp. In my case I haven't had a chance to run it over 12 pounds so the turbo has next to no wear on it. Below are additional spec's from the Garrett site: * Ball bearing turbocharger * Oil & Water-cooled bearing system * High Performance BCI-18 Compressor and UHP Turbine * Perfect for high-horsepower, smaller displacement engines at elevated boost levels * T3 turbine inlet flange and 4-bolt turbine outlet flange * Turbine housing is cast from high-nickel "Ni-Resist" material for extreme applications I would like to sell the turbo and manifold together as a package but can sell separately. Turbo new $2100, selling for $900 Manifold new $1100, selling for $500 I have all tax invoices for the work involving the turbo to prove km's and age of turbo etc for those interested Feel free to PM me of comment below for any questions. Can provide higher res photos too. Will get quotes for freight this week and post them up.
