yes indeed lol . i just looking in jay car , and they have the siren sold by itself - so i should be right to just hook that 1 up hopefully . do you think that will be safe to do? the one in jay car has 4 cables comming from it aswell as the one in my car . hope this works.

i just opened it up , looks like the circuit is blown - some things are burnt , looks like im going to need a whole need siren . anyone have any idea how much this would cost? or if i could use a different siren from another alarm unit?

i was just hosing some degreaser out of my engine bay , and i accidently hit my alarm siren . it has just started making some really weird sounds , like screatching and roaring . water must have gotten in the speaker ! i tried arming and disarming , and you couldnt hear anything , but weird sounds. now iv left it for a bit and it had gotten a bit better , im wondering could i replace the speaker in it? or is the whole thing f**kd?

if you mean how does it sound ? its ported , so you can add foam in it to adjust the sound you want , more foam for tight bass , or less for deep

why dont you take all your speakers off the amp , and connect them to the head deck . and only run the sub off the amp . you will find it sounds much more clearer. and your bass will be more defined and clear. i had the same situation when i made my sub . i found it didnt sound good together and the bass in the speakers were over powering the bass in the sub.

iv just noticed a ticking sound after i removed my cam / coil / rocker covers, tryint to sus is out aswell . . check your fan and belts too - something could be hitting .

is it when you turn your car off - or whilist running? cause i hear the same thing sometimes , sounds like its has something to do with the location near the turbo and compressor .

haha im on to you - i picked one up this morning from bunnings and started doing my crossover pipe . didnt finish it because i needed to drive . if you look at the crossover compared to other side you will see the colour difference. i need to buy a smaller one to reach into crevices .
