Im pretty lost buy now.. I have decided the HID setup is not for me.. however i do need to purchase a new set of low beam bulbs .. and im wondering which is the best for my R32. you mentiond some PIaa H1s.. do they just swap striaght over? and there the best ones you can get?

Its weird you know.. like the knob and the stalk are two differnt bits .. i use the knob to turn them to off/parkers/on the stalk just turns hi beam on..and off however when i tap the knob the lights some time turn off liek a connection is loose yet the machanic says i have to replace the stalk? it doesnt make sence to me

Sorry rob, Doesnt help People seem to be replacing the switch like its a $5 part .. yet my mechanic informs me its a $200 piece. Hmmm.

Argh! i just typed out a heaps long message and it said not found or somehting stupid.. ok let me try again.. My R32 gts-t has headlight issues, my workshop informs me the reason one of my headlights doesnt work is due to the high beam/low beam switch and that i need a new one ($200) just want to know if anyone else has had this problem, if so how did you fix it?

yeah but why is it like $400? cant i just go down to repco or somethign and buy some bulbs (bright ones)

whats so good about this HID thing, whats it do.. why cant i just go to the shops and get some super bright bulbs and stuck them in?

Hmm.. Now im paranoid, lol What makes me think its chipped? .. well the story goes like this.. I asked to get a data stream done on my R32 by my current workshop/mechanic. My workshop informed me that they could not do a datastream , because yje ECU was a nissan ECU, however its not an R32 ECU. Upon further inspection, I found out its a stock standard R32 ECU. when speaking to my workshop a few weeks later, and he informs me that the Datastream didnt work, possibly because the ECU may have been chipped in japan.

Hey guys, Im thinking about selling my Apexi RSM, it comes somplete with the unit and manual and im guessing all the wires. Personally i dont need it and i would rather spen the cash on something else. Not sure how much it goes for But i've seen the newer models going for around $350 second hand. So.. i guess im looking at about $200 for the unit. The only catch is, its the older model and not one of the Blue screen models, however it seems to do the exact same things

Hey.. My ECU has possibly been chipped, however I have no idea if it has or hasnt, my workshop tried to do a datastream but apparently they couldn't due to the fact that it has possibly been chipped. If there anyway to find out if it has, and if its tunable or what kind of chip its running? Thanks!

Ask the Mechanic to checkout if its one of these 2 problems. Possible Leaking injector.. Aire in your fuel line. As i have a similar problem on a cold start. let me know how it goes..

I dont liek runnign Ultimate in my RB20det.. it just doesnt feel as good as optimax.. i currently have a tank of ultimate in my car now, and i think its pinging .. not too sure, :S

Considering its a 350kw car, personally i would reccomend maybe looking at another intercooler, i wouldnt bother with a GTR intercooler because there pretty much the same as these 'chinease hybrids' as you call it.. I would maybe look at a a trust/greddy or even a hks if i was you

Dave - I havnt got any made up yet, however a member of another forums is doing a group buy on some piping, his mate is going to make the pipes and bend them .. stainless steel mandrel bent for under $500 Dont want to cause price war fueds or anything, but if your smart enough you will be abel to gifure out how much my whole kit should end up costing me.
