Heres somethign interesting.. i took a closer look at the small bunch of wires (Exhibit Z) and it appears most of the wires are cut except about two which lead to the second bunch of wires.. it looks like the white plug in Exhibit Z is ment to connect into the Power Amplifer.. but its not connected.. wonder why?, any idea? Edit: is the power amplifer for the car speakers? or for the cars electonics?

Man ive been going strong got the parcel tray out, got the top of the seats out.. cant seem to get the bottom of the seats out.. i can un hook it at the back but not at the front

Well As the journey continues With the compleation of the 'Whats in my boot' coming to an end, i decided to start work on the 'Whats in my backseat' Now this isnt the actual thread, but let me tell you that there is something black and furry squashed under the seat and im too freaked to look. let me go snap a pic for you..

Hey people, I re-set up my Apexi RSM finally.. However i notcied half the features dont work, and i have a feeling this could be to do with some currupt wiring. Anyone had any expereince with a good auto elecrician who wont break the bank?

Aight this is hoefully the final version of me and my boot tails, Basically one day i decided that im going to do an overhaul of my car, and clean it out from head to toe, as i doubt its been washed in about 12 years.. So as i set about doing this i noticed a few bits and pieces and was interested in knowing what exactly they do, and what they are! .. Well considering i dont have a workshop manual, dont have a wiring diagram ..and not knowing anyone with an r32 .. ive turned to you guys for help, and hopefully others can learn from these investigations too Exhibit A ======= 1 - This is the box that activates the word "Skyline" inbetween your tail lights when your lights are turned on *Note: Not all skylines have this- 2 - Bracket That Holds your Jack 3 - The box for your Antenna Exhibit B ====== 1 - This is a hatch to your fuel tank 2 - This is the wiring that sends a fuel reading to your "Fuel Guage" on your dash (tells how much petrol is in the car) 3 - *** Unsure what this is but those wires lead to a box mounted on the otherside of the wall *** Exhibit C ====== 1 - Power Amplifer for the Car Speakers 2 - *** Unsure *** 3 - Right hand speaker that is mounted in your rear parcel tray Ther Following photos are of "Exhibit C" .. please let me know if you know what they are? ? - Power Ampliifer for Car Speakers X - I think this is the unit that controls the rear wiper Z - Wiring that has been cut, anyone know what this is from/to? We discovered what it is thanks to 'Tha Russian" (sorry forget your name..) Its actually the fuse box or somethign that keeps the word 'Skyline' Lit up inbetween my tail lights! Also, while i have you here and im too lazy to start a new topic.. my space saver is bald, waat would be a good sized rim to replace it with, will a 15" fit in there?

Well guys im PLANNING to come .. everything seemed all good today.. untill i just burnt the **** outta my clutch on my way home :D So hopefully my car will make it.. :S Would be nice if we can stay somewhere on the coast..

Well Ill tell you about my experience.. EVERYONE had been raving about how good Gavins shop is, so when i was buying my skyline i took it to his shop to get inspected, everythign seemed good.. the chick that was answering the phones was unbelivable helpful .. a real nice lady and easy to speak to .. So after the inspection which was ment to cost $55 including a compression lest, however after some talking he convinced me to go $120 and get a data stream.. so i pop down to the shop to look at the report, all seemed good, he identified a few problems.. however what i was not happy about was the fact that i was charged.. $60 for the inspection and $60 for the data stream .. however after he accepts my money he informs me the ECU in the car is not an r32 ecu and so he could not datasream it.. Yet he still charged me for a service i didnt recieve?! I kinda put that aside and was like .. ok ill let that slide.. that was untill i found out the ECU in my car is a stock factory R32 ECU!! Now this has got me a little upset. Because i was charged for a service a did not recieve due to the ECU being a non-r32 ECU .. when its clearly stamped with factory r32 markings.. Whast the deal there?!

I just burnt the **** outta my clutch by accident just then .. and i drove 15mins home and you can still smell the burning any idea how to see if ive totally ****ed up my clutch?

Well.. i started to clean my boot today, which was an absolute nightmare. I would throw some prepsol down, and the white would be nice and shiny, but the second i wiped accross the padded tar type stuff underneath the spare it would spread dark brown stuff everywhere.. so i would start again trying to avoid the padded stuff and i would still clip it some how.. so in the end i have given up.. However i noticed this behind my back passanger tailight, i dont know if its a stock item or what.. but any idea would be great..

YEah ive read the PDF (thanks ) However when i looked at the picture, the buttons i have on mien are different.. however if thats the only difference im sure its features are going to be the same.. your a champ thanks heaps!
