  1. ha ah we were all dreaming lol. no reason why you couldnt do it at 21yrs old, but the dollars factor does come into it a fair bit.
  2. seems to be my best option. a premodded stagea. manual. reliable power. but yes a kit will follow once im done. not sure whether id get a motor built first. i was gunna say, you keeping your old stagea too. very well done indeed.
  3. thanks elle smith. lol. umm yeah ill still be looking around. maybe going as far as rockhampton in the sunshine state to get one. anyone know who has the quickest stagea in WA???? my guess is brad but his aint running. any others??? he he just rang formula cars. they've had one come in, and they trade it. he he
  4. ha ha hint hint nudge nudge. well you've given me lots to think about. ill have a sit down. do a budget and see what i can come up with. what sort of deposit would you need to get all that done?? im just thinking there wouldnt be much point getting a tune done if it didnt get the z32 AFM and larger injectors. so could that be done same time??? i know what you mean with loans and the like. family is always first. numero uno.
  5. ahhh fair enough. im just thinking cause if i brought it over, everything has to work. otherwise it wont pass the pits. so heaters and all that must be working. thats only issues id have.
  6. ha ha good point. lol. $400 thats awesome. I got done 1000 even to get mini from QLD to Perth.
  7. Hmmm, wonder how much transport would be....... they dont like free moving parts in the car when in transit. ahh ok ive got those pics saved, so I can see what it looks like. witht the link to your mod list, the bits that need repairing, whats been done??? anything else changed?? oh yeah tangles, i knew you meant $95k. is that cause its not for sale or is that legit???
  8. you mean 9.5k dont you. lol. if the price is right i would definately be keen on Ska's. a modified one is always more fun from the start. plus cheaper. but yeah.
  9. can you email me some recent piccys??? [email protected] I've been through the ones linked in your sig. hmm can I wait two months.
  10. dammit Cyrus why'd you have to say that. lol. i would have to wait bout two months, then would be set, cause i could afford to buy it, get it here and licence it lol.
  11. hmmm handy advice. thanks. sounds like i will be approaching a personal import i think. dammit. might ask imports 101 to start looking for me. might get already modded one. they are bloody good with pricing too.
  12. They all come with log book from AWS. Umm condition is pretty damn good. its 49k on the clock. 1998 model. what price would it be worth. drives very nice. no noises. everything works.
  13. yeah she paid 18k. gotta remember though, the thing had bodykit, stereo and 18's on it. im not saying that justifys the price, but it does ease the pain, lol. theres no way she could have got that car off them for less than that. i bargained, and they wouldnt budge lower than 18k no matter what. series 2, i have not seen many around. although I am keen at looking at the yellow one at AWS. its advertised for like 26k, but I have spoken to them, and they are flexible with the price. what would people pay for a Series 2. with like 40k on the clock.????
  14. he he so everyone keeps saying. but you run the risk of buying a dud. its a small risk but still one nonetheless. thats what i dont want to deal with
  15. Fark thats all. lol. Cheers mate that is heaps helpfull. Much appreciated.
  16. i think i double printed that page and handed it out. lol. umm they arent bad prices at AWS. they arent the best but ive actually seen worse. and you can bargain them down. the chick that stole my car, (kidding) got it for 2k less than asking price.
  17. ha ha cheers. well i got a couple of weeks yet before I will be buying, and the guy said hes got a few more coming in. will be getting pics soon. otherwise theres a nice standard silver one, leather interior, and sun roofs. could probly get it for like 18k maybe less. thinking of just going that
  18. i was just saying what i've read and heard. tehy are popular with younger guys and gals in japan who are getting into drifting. cause they have the balls to get sideways and stay out there. tricked up suspension helps even more. theres actually a variety of chaser like cars made by toyota. the Mark II, the chaser, the tourver V and the Grande. the grande came with N/A 2 JZ the other came with 1JZ twinturbo or single turbo.
  19. ^^^^^^ yes basically the aristo is the 2JZGTE a twin turbo 3.0litre. the chaser depending on age is a 2.5litre twin turbo(older models) or the VVTi single turbo (95 onwards i think). very nice cars. excellently set up for drift as standard.
  20. Sorry Wildcat, the silver one has gone. So has the red one I was going to look at. People are buying them all over the place. lol.
  21. so effectively only minor differences that if i was going to build another motor it wouldnt matter.
  22. Ok peoples I posted this in the Stagea section but should have posted it here. (noob) I was wondering what the differences/benefits are of the newer NEO engines in skylines and stageas?? Apart from being newer.lol. Can anyone list some major upgrades that were made??? Cheers Heath
  23. Hey guys, I'm looking into buying a stagea, but can't decide on series1 or series2. Apart from the cosmetic changes (not important), the only major difference is the Tiptronic shift, and the S2 has the RB25 Neo engine. Are there any benefits to the Neo engine??? Apart from factory outputs are rated a 206kw. but thats like all japanese cars so. Can somebody give me any ideas???
  24. Woo I like that spoiler. not sure if it would mount the same but if so, id be willing to swap, if it dont fit, then yes I'll sell mine. easy done.
  25. ha ha its like it was meant to be lol. ill let you know wildcat.
