Mate how much do you want for the drivers side rear vision mirror? -
Hey mate I know this is an old thread but I'm chasing a SII R33 drivers side rear vision mirror in the Sydney area. Do you still have one? Cheers.

Please Help Toyota Supra Wheel Bearing Problem
Race_Bred replied to nosking_178's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
whats the problem with the bearing? is it noisy? -
Try putting some jumper leads on it, i've seen plenty of cars turning over and not starting because battery voltage is a tad too low.

Rb20 Gearbox Problem
Race_Bred replied to 89 Cefiro's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The slave should be moving the fork further then 10mm, you should not have to adjust the master. Logically after fitting a new slave one can only assume there is air in the system. Try bleeding it again. It is common that masters shit themselves after having a new slave fitted, due to the old slave may have been a bit dribbly and leaked a little and now with the new slave holding pressure and not leaking it puts the old master under more stress due to there being no leaks in the slave but i dont think this is your problem because you say you have movement at the fork If fork wasn't bent before, should not be bent now. Keep bleeding it and if you get it working make sure you adjust the master back correctly. -
Try putting a fuse in there, it's will be the fuse blown or missing causing the problem. If you put a fuse in and it blows then you have a short somewhere. Have you installed a new CD player recently? There is a wire behind the stereo, which is a earth with ignition off and a power with ignition on or vice versa and is easily mistaken for something it is not. So when this wire is used incorrectly in a cd player install, it blows the parking light fuse. Have you checked fuses inside the car and under the hood? I know on 33's that particular fuse is in the boot, not inside the car.

The knock sensor would turn on the check engine light.

I've had a pair of achillies on the front of my 33 for the past 2 years, no noise at all, definetely not wearing out quick at all, i give them two thumbs up for the price, at the time my 235/35/19's were 220 in a Nankang or 180 in an achillies, which actually looks identical to the nankang except for the brand on the side of the tyre (obviously!). I'm not the smartest man in the world but i reckon they would have come from the same factory.

Bp Ultimate 98, Is It Really The Only Fuel To Use?
Race_Bred replied to KrazyKong's topic in General Maintenance
I use Mobil Synergy in my 33 gtst, never had a problem with it, my car always feels staunchy and the price is reasonable 1 or 2 days a week. I've noticed BP is dearer, i've also heard it's good stuff but personally i don't rate it. -
Does somebody know what the hell that extra pipe is coming out of the induction pipe??? lol

Buy 1 x 90 degree bend of silicon hose 2 inches of three in pipe 3 x 3 inch hose clamps - Open up the factory hole a little wider under the air filter - connect the 3 inch silicon hose to air flow meter and shove the other end in the hole - then insert the bit of 3 inch pipe into the silicon hose - put the pod filter on the other side of the pipe, do up hose clamps Bobs your uncle, the air filter in the bumper bar, the coldest air box you'll ever get! I've had this set up in my skyline for 3 years now, works like a charm, i noticed the difference straight away, it was consistently responsive, if you have half a brain water will not be a problem, just don't go through any massive puddles Keep the factory inner guard covers installed

Could be a blown headgasket, water seeps into the cylinders over night, won't turn over in morning, and runs like a dog until all the water is out of the cylinders, opening the throttle helps to get the water out.

Filling Gearbox Oil Through Shifter
Race_Bred replied to Free_Spirit's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
You didn't have to pull those 4 bolts out, you just need to remove the cir-clip holding the shifter in at the bottom where it pivots, and she will slide right out. I dunno where you got the idea from but whats wrong with filling it from the fill plug on the gear box? If you can get your hands on a little hydraulic pump just shove it in the new oil bottle and pump away until she is full. Hope you know how much oil to put in, goodluck.
