  1. sounds like a fuel pump problem
  2. spotted a whole lot of skylines down at the rocks last night and a crap load of other cars just hanging out until the boys in blue broke it all up
  3. The factory boost guage vacuum line shoots off the back of the inlet manifold near the firewall, just pull it and pop your new line straight on it If you still want the factory one to work (which i think is useless) put the T-Piece on that vacuum line
  4. There is no cold air in an engine bay, its damn scorching under there, anyhow i used to have my pod unshielded right up kissing the passenger headlight and it was terrible, performance was always up and down, so moved it into the bumper bar, and power is now much more reliable, at night its spectacular, i have a just jap front mount so cant use standard air box
  5. sorry man i tried adding a picture to that reply, i let it load for about half hour and got sick of waiting, but you can see them in the little photo in the corner
  6. i used my thumbs and a teaspoon to get that rubbery stuff off, took a while
  7. pull em out, and you need to take them to someone who has a machine to clean them if you can pull em out the charge for cleaning shouldnt be that bad
  8. better off cleaning properly, injector cleaner will probably just ruin ur spark plugs like octane booster
  9. clean injectors!
  10. i changed my timing belt in my 33 myself, it cost me $40
  11. The BA's have a button which is hidden down beside the front seat, and that resets the ECU after an accident, i doubt a skyline is like that
  12. your electric aerial going down with a few teeth missing off the plastic runner thing?
  13. cant picture your engine bay, but there should be a big black fuse box in the engine bay somewhere, drivers side i think, its a big fuse not a pissy little one
  14. you could start by checking the oil level in the transmission...
  15. just wack the air filter inside the bumper bar, it will be much louder and with the intercooler it will go for longer, adding some more boost will help too if its not already boosted
  16. i have the same kit, took me 6 hrs to do it on my own... my washer bottle sits right above where the pipe comes through you should be able to make that pipe sit lower and keep the factory position of the washer bottle... i had to shave my bar to clear the cooler, i had to shave bits of the A/C thermo and had to shave the tips off my clutch fan & cut the hole under washer bottle... did your clutch fan clear that pipe running up top near radiator??? there is a little screwing around involved but value for money is TOPS!
  17. sorry i dont know facts and figures on the spring rates, i have the softest in the rear and medium soft upfront (due to wheel clearance from the guard) , although your main problem will be the rear obviously with less weight in the back some roads are a pain in the butt, it will only bounce offline on a bumpy road if your doing stupid shit you need to tell yourself its a 'sporty ride' not a 'bumpy ride' lol took me some time to adjust handling and overall feel of the car is tops, body roll doesnt exist, gear changes are much more solid
  18. i have G4's with the softess springs they come with and they are damn solid, but you get used to them
  19. Check the alternator fuse, i have seen this happen a few times
  20. You have a worn 1st gear synchro, my SSS pulsar does the same but only when its cold, you just need to bring the engine speed up to the same speed as the gearbox and she will slide in or you can spend big bucks fixing it. A mate of mine had the same problem with his S15, he bought some nulon additive which claimed to fix this problem but i havent seen him since we put it in so i can't say if it works
  21. The car looked like a mate from works car which was stolen from earlwood 2 months ago never found, i'll find out if it was on Monday, if it was his car it was a series 2 GTST with full GTR body kit and 280 KW at the wheels, spent 70k, insurance ran out while he was oversea's and it got pinched the 1st week he was back, poor guy didnt get a chance to renew his policy
  22. Sounds reasonable, some cars just aren't as popular as others, i'd say thats what your problem is, if you have 2 bust on the price then what choice do u have? take the next offer for 8k and run
  23. While out and about in the last week ive spotted two mean sounding GTR's both with screamer pipes, one was down near orange grove krispy cremes last wednesday i think, it was gun metal with number plates UREADY, second one on woodville road near Fairfield street last friday number plates GUN RB, both sounded like they had some good gear under their hoods
