this thread reminded me of when i took my s1 stagea on to the beach at geraldton.. it was like a snow plow in the deep ruts but she never got boged. was priceless to see the amazed faces of all the 4wd owners as they drove past. had stock suspension but low profiles on a set of 17s

ok so my fmic is blocking my standard trans cooler and theres no room to mount it neatly anywhere else. im also puting out 302 rwhp with more to come when i do my injectors i was thinking of putting another small one in series and in a better position it to try cool it some more. has anyone done this or know of any problems it may cause. cheers

+ 1 for the razor blade/ stanley knife. did it on s1 front bar and it was easy, the plastic is quite soft

i recon 16 or 17 grand will be a good place to start. thats what im trying to get for mine but its a auto with mods making 302rwhp

not to bad with stock turbo, what are u expecting with a turbo upgrade. i made 302 rwhp on a 2wheel dyno with a gcg highflow turbo and nistune remap(shame they dont do it for the s1 yet)

still got the 02 sensor

close to a year.. quater mile time was a 14.36 at 100.22 mph at 15 psi she was misfiring quite badly so with a new set of plugs and slightly gaped down might make it into the 13s

i will be down there with my freshly tuned 302 rwhp

awd auto. the injectors are getting close to max duty. i went for a mild tune as i dont want to destroy my engine and its my daily driver so still want some sort of economy. im also geting over pouring money into it which i wont be getting back. so far im close to 5k spent on mods
