  1. hey shane a stagea dump pipe has poped up on ebay again. thats wat i have and happy wit performance. after fitting dump pipe and highflow cat i now have boost cut issues as boost is incresead wit free flowing exhaust. got ya fmic fitted yet
  2. i hjave checked the treads and didnt find anything on wa owners wit towballs. i need one now that we sold the misses corrola and no cars have tow ball. anyone fitted a removable tow b as i dont like the look of a towball. think there called rece hitch or sumthin like that

  4. ummm .undecided. got me thinking though what about an ally drop tank seeing as the fuel consumption is up poo creek. i know the stag doesent need more weight but for those long trips with limited fuel stops it would be good. i also think they look good
  5. yea saw mark today and had a chat. sounded promising and hes gona have a crack at the shifting points for the auto aswell but gona have to wait like a month to see if its all gona work.... fingers crossed. where you lookin at getin your emanage from mro and what prices. i was lookin on ebay and there rond 7 to 800$ delivered. what was the outcome of the blown cluth packs , did they grip after everything cooled
  6. done the boost mod but still get the extra power. also now have boost cut issues as i have done full 3 inch zorst and high flow cat. just waiting on someone else to trial a emanage ultimate which is happening in the next few weeks. if it works( and the guy seems to think it will) im next
  7. just wondering if many people use there s1 auto as a manual and if it causes damage? also when i shift from 2 to drive i feel more power does this mean 1st and 2nd are restricted somehow. i think it has something to do with vvti but need more info

  10. hey mate. had the exact same problem at round the same ks too. diagnosis was the shift solenoid is not engaging clutch packs properly. first and third gear use the same solenoid but you wont notice it in first till it gets really bad because of the tourque. the first sign of my problem was hitting the limmiter when third was changing under hard revs and it started to happen in first.. tip when fixing is go for a shift kit because its better for your clutch packs when the shifts are firm because of les slipage.

  12. i seem to be experiencing the same thing... you done any mods recently. mine happened when i put my hi flo cat and dump in so i thought it could be hitting r&r. may just be a coincidence. also you may just be getting a missfire so check your plugs. thats my next thing to check
  13. so this sounds good. say some of us had simillar mods could the same tune be remaped to each ecu.
  14. auto shift ignition retard...? please explain more. the only problem i can see wit power fc is if all the sensors / wires can not be connected properly. if they can then tuning should be no problem. the mechanic at c red seemed quite confident that he could get it to work on satag. good news is someone is trying it before me so if it works i will get it also and once it has been done once the secound time should be easy .......... hopefully

  16. that is my goal , around 190kw at the wheels . mods are hybrid fmic, apexi pod. splitfire coils. full 3 inch zorst turbo back and runing 14 pound of boost. also have a shift kit in the auto for better shifts. i know with those mods she will be hitting r&r and with some ecus you can get built in boost settings (2) stock and 12 pound= no boost controller. speed and boost cut are also there

  21. hey fly.. so how much did those 2 set ya back. was talking 2 a guy at c red about the apexi power fc and there is another stag that is going to try it out.. he is confident he can get it to work....so will wait and see if it does work. got some good info of him saying that the stag tune on stock ecu is the worst tuned of any of the skylines. it was meant to be a car for snow driving ( basically taking the family to the snow) he also told me the shift points on the auto are not the best
  22. read the treads on this and none seem to be recent so wondering if anyone has had a hit or miss wit aftermarket ecu,s. asking because im going to get mine done in a few months. was thinking on trying apexi power fc for ease of tuning but i know that the auto is gona be an issue. any help would be appreciated. oh im also trying to stick to a budget of 2 k . ohh i have a series 1 by the way

  25. na definatley nissan spec cos the auto start remote has nissan writing on it. i think it would be common in the colder parts of japan
