  2. hey chook, i to have the sard fuel pump but i had some problems with its dual flow rates..the idol flow rate makes the stag have a flat spot on takking off from a standing start.. did u have this problem? the auto spark is going to earth the pump so it runs at 100 percent all the time

  4. i thinkk 16 is the max but u can have less. just means u pay more as u hire out the skidpan for a few hours.. not shure if i will go in for this one as i dont think i would take away any more knowledge than last time. still would come down for a looksee

  10. hey guys. i have an issue with this mystery oil sender that is not connected. the sender is screwed in a bit back from the oil filter and its not connected. it has a spade end for a plug but have had a good look at all the looms near it and there are no spare plugs. i removed it to install my oil pressure sender in its place and to take a look, it seems to be oil temp. anyway the oil pressure sender was a different thread so i refitted the old sender but i want to know if anyone has one that is connected or is it aftermarket? its easy enough to see, just look at the oil filter and start to look back towards the engine and its a few cms back.. oh mines a s2
  11. hmm not true. i can get my s2 into 4th at 60 to 70ks after 1 or 2 minutes after start up using triptronic . Also it goes into 4th normally as i live 40 seconds away from the freeway and never has it stayed in 3rd.. Doesent sound like a major problem though sorry about f#@king with you rested mind
  12. im getting a walbro fitted. i think the flow rate is 255 litres a minute? and a fuel pressure regulato. what is the standard flow rate of the s2 and s1 fuel pumps? i thinkits arond 230 litres?
  13. how do u find the compromise of space in the rear? kinda defeats having a wagon if u got a metal bar across the back
  14. had mine gapped at .8 mm before my exhaust and fmic. after they were fitted i found that the spark seemed to break down at 5000 rpm + only when driving hard . sold the car before i gaped the plugs smaller but 99 percent shure that was the problem.. started to wander down the rich and retard path but ended up being the garden path
  15. hey guys i had the same problem. its your spark.. what gap are your plugs and how old are they.. also could be your coilpacks
  16. hi juggler firstly.. good choice. Have u driven a stagea yet? my gf reckons its to big for her round carparks and tight situations, like our old driveway but loved the cruising side of it untill i fitted my exhaust and now its to noisy in her opinion . i have a red s2 and its my second stagea. feel free to come around and see it if im not to far away. i live in southlake. south of the river. inserted a pic of what she looks like
  17. i dont think i need the loan shocks as the guy said it should only take a week and i work away for 2 so its ok
  18. hey guys n girls im after a loan pair of shocks for my s2 stagea as im seending my ohlins coilovers to sydney for a service. not shure how long its gona take and dont want to be left wiyhout a car for to long thanks in advance jerome

  20. i to used the am performance dump pipe and it seems ok. also running a metalco cat and xmetal cat back recentley fitted ( 1 resonator 1 muffler) mine is droney at 2 grand. as for bolt in didnt do it myself because the metalcat needed to be welded in so got them to fit the dump. the shop said the press fit part of the dump didnt fit so they ground it off and the mounting bracket does not fit onto anything, just hangs in the breeze. the boost levels went up with the higher flowing exhaust fitted. it now peaks at 9 psi. almost creeps upto 10 on a cold night at full stick
