  1. is there a thread somewhere for temora?
  2. wmi has no effect on your injector size, same size injectors you would run for what ever power it is on normal 98 as thats all you put in the tank. good wmi kit 400-600, you then need to source your methanol and distilled/demineralised water, its not a complete retune its only a partial retune anywhere on the map after the WMI has turned on as thats the only place that will have any changes for extra go fast you can mix in small amounts of nitromethane as well
  3. Nicholls caltex, just off the barton highway another southside somewhere. it is not a practical solution in canberra yet as there's only 2 pumps
  4. anything more specific to which bus stop? being on the weston end of hindmarsh drive kinda leaves a lot of options.
  5. thats probably just something they do so its almost guaranteed to pass first time but running 5 cats isnt practical or cheap and you have to get them all up to temp before they work properly anyway, they should always do 2 tests when checking, you will notice the first test is almost always a fail as the cat isnt at operating temp and then they do a 2nd test which has massively improved results as your cat has got some heat into it.
  6. as said before the XR6T cats are the ones to get and have been for a while.
  7. i passed the IM240 with a euro 3 cat (euro 4 will be better), 740cc injectors, gt35r, stock cams (big cams will hurt your results), running off a vipec plugin. if its tuned for emissions with a good cat is possible to pass with a fairly modified car.
  8. is the more rounded one the jun or the tomei? in your post you say the tomei is on the left and on the left is the jun is all
  9. 850-950 650rpm is too low
  10. how much tilt did you end up with? how are you tilting it? i have seen a trailers setup with a large bottle jack mounted between the A frame and the bed or if you wanted it all electric you could use a linear actuator but to be rated to safely lift that weight its going to cost a bit.
  11. too retarded, running lean, or pushing it hard for a while. you dont get that from the timing being too advanced.
  12. it will if you are using the AFM
  13. water meth doesnt bring the turbo on earlier as its not injecting anything until you are on boost or starting to get on boost, it allows more ignition timing and cools the intake fuel/air mixture meaning you can lean on the tune more. there is a big thread on it in this section.
  14. you arent going to get the most out of the cams with only a SAFC, you need an aftermarket computer to tune it properly. all the SAFC does is remove or add fuel into the already existing tune based on how much air is being read by the AFM
  15. why even bother making the 30 block look like a 25? mine has been engineered and passed the NSW emissions testing which is all you need to have it legally registered. end of the day that all up is cheaper than the 5k you want to spend on a spacer plate and liners etc.
  16. you should spend $1000 or less on extending the sump and putting baffles in it to avoid this issue in the future while you are at it.
  17. closed loop boost works, and i have never had an issue with it driving my coils/ignitor you must be reading the ooooold posts if you are reading about the boost control being only basic, all the extra features are just software updates to the ecu, no hardware changes.
  18. bump the below link is how the car was when i purchased it in 2006 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/136382-for-sale-1994-r33-s1-gtst-11000-contact-updated/page__hl__r33%2011,000
  19. people have tried using fuel injectors in the past to do it, it destroys the injector. they arent made to spray water and most arent made to suit methanol either.
  20. mine is entirely map based and controlled by the snow performance box, it would be more accurate with injecting the mix if it used extra variables to work out the duty but I haven't had any issues as is.
  21. you would go off MAF and not MAP if its not a MAP based ecu.
  22. i find that power figure out of a standard GT35 hard to believe. i have only ever seen a couple make more than 420-430.
