  1. no can do for me. i could passenger but my car doesnt seem up for it at the moment
  2. just recently my gearbox has started making clunky noises while idling, the noise goes away if you push the clutch pedal in. it has been suggested that it could be the spigot bush but i know it has a manual one in it and not an auto/none at all. in the same time it has locked me out of all forward gears 4 times while driving, to get it into gear again you have to completely stop the car moving, select first and it will then work fine again, someone said this could be a synchro ring jamming out of alignment? any other ideas as to what it could be before i go to the effort of taking the gearbox out?
  3. are you also saying it has a 2.75" front pipe to the cat? what size cat? and then 4" from the cat back? you really should be looking at afront pipe with 3.5 - 4" after the merge and 2.75 - 3" from each dump.
  4. both. i went against the norm and have a genuine one. havent had any issues with it and it came with everything needed to install it.

  6. not if you want to drive it there. you can put them in then tow it there if thats going to be cheaper than labour

  8. maybe if it was using alloy rods as they expand more and also stretch/fatigue over time but even then good ones should last 20,000km with street/track use. though saying that, if you are going to that extent in your engine you probably arent using it on the street much if at all and are unlikely to leave the rods without checking them until one does let go.
  9. any exhaust can be modified, they just dont want to take it off and chop it up to modify it.

  12. setup the suspension/tyres right and it wont even chirp 2nd.

  14. a lot of dynos in the UK (if thats where the focus one is from) give readings based on some crap math for "flywheel" hp
  15. -5 beats -10 hands down, slightly less up top (marginal) but has massive increases down low.

  21. 2000 RPM = 60kw 2500 RPM = 80kw 3000 RPM = 130kw 3500 RPM = 180kw 4000 RPM = 260kw 4500 RPM = 310kw 5000 RPM = 350kw 5500 RPM = 390kw between these two peaks at 394kw 6000 RPM = 390kw 6500 RPM = 385kw dyno run ends early, limiter is set at 7500rpm 26psi @ 4000-4100 on the dyno run crappy mspaint overlay - there is still no replacement for displacement it seems

  24. il work out a conversion for mine from kph to rpm to see how my much lower budget GT35 setup compares there is only 10kw between our peak power figures on 98.
