for someone like you that sees a lot of limiter action stick to the stronger pumps, tomei, jun and nitto or invest in changing the oil pump gears in the N1 to something stronger.
get a suspension shop to setup your camber, toe, caster and such.
it doesn't matter how wide your wheels are or how good/wide your rubber is if you are carrying 5deg of camber on the rear, there are going to be traction problems.
we checked my oil restrictors just recently they were 1.5mm before being installed after pulling the head off and checking them out a 1.3mm drill bit wont fit into the openings
the design isnt going to flow much more than the stock one will and being a cheap ebay stainless manifold its going to crack/warp.
you need to accept that the world of ebay parts/suppliers is not one of quality, performance or guaranteed fit.
my setup with 2x 1.5mm was still pumping way too much oil to the head as soon as you took it past 6000. its just been changed to 1x 1.5mm and 1x 1mm with a couple extra oil drains directly to the sump for good measure.
will see how it goes this time round.
1x 1.5mm is not enough for the hydraulic lifters (for solids sure that will work), 2x 1mm can be hit and miss, works for some gives lots of lifter noise for others.

mines the old model 2J1 (replaced by the 2J2) appart from the wideband sensor plug getting a little hot and melting (track abuse + too close to exhaust not the units fault) i havent had a single issue with it.
friends landcruiser had the same problem, drove fine idled fine but whistled on boost, turned out one of the gaskets on the intake manifold wasnt sealing quite right under boost.
pull them all off and go over them with some hylomar then put it back together.
mine is an older kit but its set to start at 8 and flat out at 20. it was also fully operational when i passed the nsw emissions testing.
you will likely find the car never sees 8 Psi while they are testing.
my engine would ping its ass off when i put heat range 6 plugs in it by accident.
heat range 6 plugs + 300kw on 98 is not a good choice, on a dedicated E85 car its less of an issue.
well i have just upgraded to a 4" thick core for my car so i have the old "hybrid GT spec" branded 600x300x76 (3" in and out) bar and plate core spare.
though if you are looking for a tube and fin design thats not much help.
mild improvement with the 3" turbo back but you really should replace the cat while you are at it.
the pops are just unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust, nothing to worry about.
