1. ~15-30 cm from the throttle/throttles so in your case you would want it in the bend before the intake manifold or the pipe just before that
2. my GT35 0.82 rear is making ~20 psi just after 3500rpm. your HX40 is a diesel turbo off a big truck and 400hp is lower end HX35 power you need to shove some boost into it.
3. nismo intank will flow as much as a bosch 044 (which will flow more than a 040)
4. from memory, he used an OEM head gasket when he put it together.
5. if it means you leave perfectly good turbos on his roof, you are most welcome to haunt me too.
6. they arent early 90's RB technology.
7. have you thought about adjustable intake and exhaust? or just intake? i assume if you did an adjustable exhaust you would require a crank trigger for timing and a computer to support it though.
8. stock capacity RB26 + twin high mount GT35R's pumping 1000+hp
9. its also no boost controler and on a tune for GT-RS turbos. hardly the worlds greatest comparison.
10. you sir must be smoking crack. a link G4 plugin unit is years ahead of the old powerfc and if you take into account the $$ spent on the AFM and put it towards the ECU instead you can get one for similar money, tuning will probably be a bit more expensive though.
11. 3076 0.82 should be all in between 3500-4000 the 3040 is a bit of an odd ball turbo.
12. that combo is going to be capable of 400+kw a 4" system from the turbo back is the only option you should be considering.
13. that picture gives me the feeling that its an RB30
14. fixed for accuracy, mines not a 2.5L
15. tad over 3500rpm 89dB @ a little over 3500rpm and 50cm (45 degrees from exhaust tip). if i was to take it to 4700 im not sure if it would pass but its only a 16x11x6 muffler and you can fit an 18x12x8 in the back comfortably.
16. dont even need two large mufflers to make 3" legal. mines got a hot dog muffler and a large oval muffler and its legal (as tested by the RTA).
17. dont blow the link computers off, vs a powerfc they are a massive improvement for not a lot more money.
18. you will find the steam pipe ones are setup with less than a 90 degree angle as they have serious boost issues if its not.
19. 2.5" is a lot more common pipe size so the materials would be cheaper.
20. looks like the way its designed, the flap opens and merges the gas around the edge of the exhaust housing lip so the gas is designed to merge in nicely rather than disrupt the flow. well thought out bit of gear.
21.

it increases the efficiency of the wing and gives more downforce for not much of an increase in drag.
22. barbarians constant mentioning of how awesome a place it is ticked off someone higher up.
23. jaycar.com.au search for CAT. NO. PA0927 CAT. NO. PS0786 (most likely also requires CAT. NO. PP0790 and some soldering if you just want to plug it into an existing USB port) CAT. NO. PS0782 (most likely also requires CAT. NO. PP0790 and some soldering if you just want to plug it into an existing USB port)
24. ETM are in wollongong NSW
