  1. you cant just take the blades off and put another set on it all needs to be precisely balanced.
  2. as this is forced induciton i suggest you install a turbo.
  3. use roys experience, stick with the stock intake.
  4. NEO has solid lifters, so yes you could but i would check the specs of the cams before changing them (unless you mean aftermarket 26 ones) dont go more than 9mm lift
  5. 32bit. i am highly doubtful the atom is 64bit capable.
  6. Hydraulic lifters are subject to this thing called "hydraulic intensity" which limits how quickly the cam can open the valve without "collapsing" the lifter mechanism (which would be detrimental in terms of performance). With a solid lifter, the cam profile can be more aggressive and can accelerate the valve off the seat and open it fully more quickly, resulting in "more area under the curve" (more valve opening during the same period) than is possible with a hydraulic. Because of the difference in ramp rates on the camshafts, in general it's not wise to put a solid lifters cam on hydraulic lifters, and vice versa.
  7. on the highway Canberra > Sydney 9.5L/100km (GT35 cruising at highway speed you rarely ever hit boost)
  8. its easier to just do HP x 0.746 (or 0.75) = KW or the other way KW x 1.36 = HP
  9. RB26 cams require solid lifters, do not run them on the hydraulic ones.
  10. thats a huge waste gate pipe 2.5" ?
  11. you wouldnt be worried about the roll overs?
  12. the first 3 are short the others get a bit longer and its very noticable the difference between a 250kw evo and skyline you grab 1-2-3 in an evo feel like you are going to get mashed through your seat, get to 4th and it feels like someones taken all the power away. 0-100 they are brilliant 100+ the skyline walks away.
  13. its all in the evos short gearing.
  14. give the exhaust gasses somewhere to expand and cool.
  15. i have noticed on a couple of occasions mine has gotten low oil pressure under brakes and in some.one elses car i have noticed the warning light come on under brakes, never had an issue round corners.
  16. SR20 4 banger not a 6cyl RB.
  17. they screw into the exhaust manifold runners like o2 sensors except smaller.
  18. all of that info is in this thread
  19. you can also hear massive amounts of compressor surge under throttle which isnt going to be doing any good in that video yet in this one with the white 33's owner driving your car its not there (i have noticed mine does this if you aren't 100% full throttle)
  20. 3500-4000 full boost positive pressure by 2000-2500 for the 0.82 GT35
  21. on the highway 15.5-16:1 AFR mine gets 9.5L/100km
  22. have you thought about using a larger radiator as it shouldn't matter if the fans are always on even at high speed.
  23. he wants to keep the hydraulic lifters and they can only be pushed so far before they dont open /close valves properly.
  24. the highest i have seen was daves rb25 and he took that to 8500 iirc
