  1. you can lower the compression with bigger head gaskets, you cant raise it as the compression figures for the pistons are based off 1-1.2mm head gaskets and you wont get one thin enough to make a big difference without running into issues with the pistons hitting the head. idealy on E85 you want to try and aim high as your builder has said 9.5-10:1 if you can (arias make pistons off the shelf for the RB30 to do 9.8:1)
  2. if you already have your pistons then most of the choice is over and done with. from there you cant change it too much except to lower it.
  3. as you get near full boost it will open and make lots of noise, being a small turbo its going to be on early 2500-3000.
  4. i have a 0.82 35R and stock cams, ~20psi @ just after 3500. bigger cam setups dont get much better response.
  5. i had a drive out there this afternoon, there are quite a few new potholes around that you need to look out for.
  6. use a Z32 ecu instead.
  7. just buy the garrett rear housing with the money from the sale of your turbo.
  8. you wont be able to hide twin GT30's. it just takes up too much space.
  9. it could be done with internal gates, but an engine thats going to support 2x GT30's reliably isnt going to be cheap to begin with. why skimp on the turbo setup?
  10. possibly in, depending on costs etc when they are up.
  11. but more importantly, does it do skidz?
  12. they are act plates, however they cant be completely 24k gold because its too soft and the wheels would just collapse under the cars weight gold plated sure.
  13. i have used it on mine, gives a good kick in the pants.
  14. GT35, 25/30, stock 4.1 Diff. i get 9.5L/100km on the highway 12-13L/100 around town on 98.
  15. they were having trouble with the 4WD when that video was made so most of it was RWD
  16. i was fairly sure they were using E85 and -5's. as it kept the response similar to how it was on the R32's engine. 1 min in mark says its running E85
  17. Race Pace Rb29, HI Octane R34 off the top of my head
  18. a completely stock engine will take 18psi on a turbo of that size.
  19. its in the sponsors section of the members area.
  20. the plugin skyline version has 4 ignition drivers and 8 injector drivers.
