  2. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...eModel=Ecsta+XS you have to remember though, they are in the USA and it has to be shipped over.
  3. i was looking on tyrerack, the khumos are stupidly cheap. 285R17 $158 USD each. (+ shipping)
  4. as you still have a residence in SA you can keep the rego in SA. the only thing that you really need to worry about is if they have yearly inspections as part of rego in SA as you wont be able to get one here. though you might want to change is the postal address to your address here or to a friend/parent and they can forward anything on to you.
  5. wait, so what do you use then?
  6. says the man who bought a car with a fuel tank the size of a thimble. because the designers thought that was a good idea
  7. whore up the nsw metal lickers thread you ho. its too dead in there.
  8. at 2500rpm my GT35 will give a few PSI at 3000 its giving 5-10 at 3500 its giving 18-20ish
  9. its a 25 with 26 guts paul not a 30
  10. Heavy on fuel compared to the rolla Insurance is very expensive Parts are expensive Most are over 15 years old, which means things are wearing out/may need to be replaced. The police love to chat with you on the side of the road more so with P plates.
  11. the RB20 boxes arent as strong as the RB25 ones, a 250+kw RB25 will break it with some abuse.
  12. at least put a highflow turbo on there, there is no point building a forged engine for the stock 200kw turbo.
  13. speed has never killed anyone. its the sudden stop that does it.
  14. $20-40 per injector depending on who does it. as for who in SA does it, no idea.
  15. will also most likely increase accidents as everyone is paying attention to how fast they are going not the traffic around them.
  16. they are saying it controls when the solenoid allows boost to get to the wastegate (solenoid closed = no pressure getting to the wastegate which should give reduced wastegate creep before full boost so boost builds as fast/hard as it can, if you lower it boost should build a little slower/smoother)
  17. talk to 6boost or ETM (Extreme Turbo Manifolds) both can make low mount manifolds.
  18. On the back of the indicator/headlight stalk you will see two bridge points (circled in red) these need to be filled with solder as seen in my picture. this enables the low beam to stay on as the high beam is switched on, it also leaves the low/high beam lights on their own seperate fuses and relays so you dont run into other electrical issues. This is the other side of the stalk if you want to pry it appart, the hardest part of doing this is cleaning away the lubricant and getting the solder to stick.
  19. this can be fixed with some soldering skills. if you pull the stalk off the column there are two gaps you need to bridge with solder. i can get you some pictures as i need to pull mine off.
  20. considering pistons and rods are about $2k on their own you are only up for the 3.5k billet crank over a normal forged 30.
  21. only the link G4 ecu's share the same hardware as the vipecs (or which ever way round you want to put it) the earlier model links are/were only sold as link
  22. its in the RB30 conversion PDF, one of the easiest things to find in here.
  23. an exhaust shop will be able to get it in for you.
  24. setup antilag, guilt-toy was asked if his car had a V8 in it a few times with it running and he was on stock cams.
  25. single 5" pipe out the front guard.
