  1. i would guess you get a similar result with that GT-SS + RB30 setup to Al's GT30 + RB30, just has power everywhere.
  2. anything smaller than a GT30 is TOO SMALL for a 3L, as it is the GT30 will be well into boost at 2500.
  3. dont forget mitchell, Sinsations, Gentlemens club, VIP Lounge, pretty woman. etc.
  4. Fuel these days is pretty good and 9:1-10:1 isnt uncommon for factory turbo engines, if you intend to run on E85 you could even go higher without any real dramas. Off boost (which really, most street cars do 90% of the time) the higher compression makes it a much nicer car to drive every day. A few members on here have had their engines built by Greg (ProEngines) as they do lots of RB30's and know what needs to be done, they are also a lot closer than SA.
  5. the sump bolt patterns are the same between the RB25 and RB30. but you might as well just get a stagea engine for the price difference.

  8. what they can do is fill out a form on the rta site that says they believe your car to be defect worthy and you get a trip to dickson to prove it isnt.
  9. turbo engines dont have extractors, they are for NA and supercharged cars. tuned length manifolds are more wank than result. lag does not differ much from a log style stock manifold and a nice tube one, especially on a small turbo.

  11. somethings wrong with your suspension/tyres. at 200kw i could hold traction in 1st gear.
  12. anthonys is a 30, hamish has a 25 (they are side feed, stock rail nismo injectors)
  13. something thats odd, hamish makes 320kw on 550cc, anthony makes 350-370 on 740cc and you make 403 on 1000cc. out of fuel pump flow more than out of injector?
  14. how far north of 400? not much? 1000cc will do it with some room to spare lots? best go with some 1600cc injectors instead.
  15. does it have semi's at the moment or just standardish street rubber? much camber on the rear? subframe bushes? stiff springs/shocks? if you wanted to save the expense of the twin scroll setup, a water meth injection kit with some nitromethane addative will get you that last 20kw for a lot less $$

  17. Aux outputs > Aux 2 > "Engine Speed XOver" change to 200rpm. that will get the fuel pump going full speed at idle, though thats just pumping more fuel around heating it up when sitting in traffic.
  18. your ecu will have the factory fuel pump controler enabled, so below ~1500rpm the fuel pump voltage/current drops to keep noise down, turn it off and you will be able to hear it again.
  19. the problem with the exhaust noise, is that you are using tiny mufflers/resonators. whack something huge at the back 16x12x8 etc thats an easy fix and a custom muffler from an exhaust shop should be all of ~$350.
  20. my dwell is set to 2ms 0-2000 1.9ms 2500-5000 1.8ms 6000+ no problems with my ignitor.

  22. get them flow tested, you are looking at ~ $30 each for a random person off the street (you only need to test one of each type to get an idea what they are)
  23. untill the supra spits a turbo wheel.
  24. my aircon lines from the compressor to the cabin wouldnt fit with my 4" dump pipe. so i just removed it all instead.
  25. mine has been running fine for more than a year.
