  2. missed the 33 part and thought you were going to enter her 34 . was going to ask how drunk she was when she agreed to that. decided to keep it as a track car shell?
  3. you add more fuel to the cell that doesnt have enough. though that wont be the issue if you are still using the stock ECU.
  4. i had that problem and it was a cell on the ecu that hadnt got enough fuel so it would go lean and lose almost all power and make some popping noises in the exhaust.
  5. Greg has done quite a few of the 30's on here. wish i had taken mine to him sooner two and a half weeks for an assembled motor vs 6 months and still hadnt been touched at the other shop (dont remember what they were called).

  12. the Greddy requires an adaptor to bolt the stock one on. i am not sure about the plazmaman ones.
  13. with the RB30 legal issues. i have been told by the rta the rule is now 15% capacity increase for ACT and NSW (without an engineers report) (though it has some funny clauses about forced induction reducing that number for NSW) this makes it borderline for the GTR's (2990cc) and way off for the GTS-T's (2875cc). anyone know when they changed the rules?
  14. does the no doof doof rule apply if it is a moulded fibreglass install that bolts to the body of the car? also what about WMI tanks/pumps in the boot? i run a 51% water to 49% meth mix, in that state its a non flamible liquid.
  15. if thats the ACT one you cant drive it in NSW with that permit and is only from 7am to 7pm then to get a NSW 1 or 7 day permit you have to have a roadworthy inspection that has not deemed the car "unsafe to drive" but as soon as you mention the car has a larger engine/turbo/etc the shops dont want to touch it.

  17. you may run into issues with the "you cant putting a V8 into a car under XXXXkg" rules
  18. my car with over 300kw doesnt accelerate that fast in 4th from low revs. both the dyno and the car have brakes that the operator can use to slow it down after the run.

  24. i have a GT35 + external gate, but a lot of people appear to be moving to that GT30 setup and having a lot of success.
  25. have you thought about just having the vct active at idle and using a shift light to turn it off via relay @ the RPM set to turn the light on??
