  1. Stao, Are you able to replace the oil seals in a Garrett 3582R? if so how much do you charge for this?
  2. my forklift was doing its job so well the RTA told me it cant come out of the shed to stack things without a full engineers report
  3. it would be a 30 min job for an exhaust place to modify and extend your dump pipe (if you don't have the tools to cut it and weld in an extension yourself)
  4. BOC in fyshwick would probably be the best place to try, if they wont deal with you directly they can probably point you in the right direction.
  5. it isn't hard to get power out of massive V8 engines even if they are built on caveman tech (holden v8), at least ford are putting some tech into their engines. (the new mustang 5L looks pretty nice and the factory provisions for a supercharger to bolt on, hopefully that makes its way into the XR8 i agree with Paul, my GTST when it was running 200rwkw would pull away from a friends 290rwkw LS1 powered commo.

  8. more mid range and top end power, less low down power and a couple hundred rpm more before it gets on boost
  9. unless you are going big injectors there isnt much point there are enough side feed options available.

  11. a friend has a 3076 on their supra and i have a 35r on my RB30, for that hit when it ramps up the 3582 is great but for every day use around town honestly i think i would rather the 3076 it just drives like a stock turbo.
  12. He is using a 3L. you will find the GT-RS turbos and the T04Z will both give similar power outputs of 400-450kw
  13. if you want to look at it that way, nothing happens untill 4000 where it starts to build boost, you hit full boost at 5500 and then its wheel spin for the first 4 gears.
  14. VCT has nothing do to with injector timing, VCT advances/retards the cam timing so the valves open/close earler/later
  15. with my engine i just unbolted the mounts/brackets from the RB25 and put them on the 30. bolts straight up.
  16. what you on about willis, the 30 drops into a GTST without any mods to the engine mounts (or are you using a standard intake manifold?).

  20. you might need to work on the cable tie intercooler mounting. im not sure thats the most secure solution.

  23. they don't look like R33 brackets, use the ones off your old engine and it should bolt in without much fuss.
