  1. pig whats the problem here?
  2. so when are you going to sort out your boost control and crank out a good 300+kw from that bad boy?
  3. other than the fact the exhaust side of the engine looks like it has been lowered i cant see anything out of the ordinary.
  4. well then next door there is the gentlemens club or upstairs from sinsations there is the VIP lounge
  5. look at getting a GT3582R with a 1.06 rear. it should pull off 440rwkw with E85.
  6. You are probably looking at about 400 in labour from a workshop + the cost of a replacement clutch. if it is still running the standard turbo you will be fine to replace it with a heavy duty organic one or if you just want to make it more of a pain to drive in traffic you can get a button clutch instead.
  7. when i was shopping for my turbo CRD had the best price i could find.
  8. check the oil level. clean up the oil that is in the intake pipe/pipes. drive around for a week and take another look. see if there is more oil in there and if the oil level has dropped much if at all.
  9. how much ignition timing have they used in the mid range? does the VCT still work?
  10. The 30 does give much more torque off boost. If someone will let you take a drive of one, you will be surprised how much nicer they are to drive off boost. Spool wise, my 30 brings my GT35R (0.82 rear) onto 1psi @ 2300rpm in 3rd or 1psi @ 2000rpm in 5th and you get 15psi at 3500rpm. There is no replacement for displacement if you want to get a turbo on boost nice and early.
  11. the only bolt on option you have listed is the highflow. the GT28 turbos use a T25 inlet not a T3 which the skyline uses.
  12. if i have had a chance to get the ecu retuned by then id be up for it.
  13. tuned on 93MON not 93RON
  14. if you go for an RB30 you will more than likely find the GTRS is too small.
  15. But if you are using a turbo small enough to fit on the stock manifold do you actually need to upgrade it at all?
  16. if you want to spend that sort of money on a manifold go with a ceramic coated ETM or 6BOOST manifold and put the money you save towards something else.
  17. presumably it would effect oil drainage back to the sump when under heavy brakes
  18. no it is completely different to the one on the rear of the head. This is on the exhaust side of the front of the head just behind the exhaust cam gear / in front of runner #1 of the exhaust manifold. Mine just has a T piece into the oil drain as the guide says appears to be working fine.
  19. as troy mentioned it. who is going out today?
  20. seems like an ok price to pull it all down, clean it up, modify the block to work with all the RB25 gear, and put it back together. that is a few days work for most places.
  21. RB30 twin cam with 9.2-9.4:1 compression and a GT35 on the side of it, happily plods around in traffic at 1500rpm and gives ~12l/100km city driving thats why we have twin cam forklift engines because you can have your response and 400kw
  22. i think i saw that this morning. i just assumed you had upgraded from the current stagea
  23. then go with the 3076 (GT3076R-700382-12) with a 0.82 rear. that will give you a little over 400hp on pump fuel. the 3071 is unlikely get you that without using E85/WMI/race fuel/etc
  24. put some wire mesh somewhere in there
  25. what is the problem exactly if its not the noise?
