  1. this mod has nothing at all to do with restricting oil flow to the head, it is changing where the oil goes once it is in the head.
  2. I am about to put my 30 into my 33. i know i have seen it before but i cant find it by searching. Where should i plumb the coolant line to on the intake side? lots of people seem to be doing it to the plennum some are doing it to the factory location, which is best?
  3. donnan in Queanbeyan and a couple of skylines out at the skid pan.

that 505 wasn't on pump fuel
  5. too many revs + not enough oil/oil pressure and say goodbye to one or more bearings.
  6. 235/45/17 Federal 595-RS here. discontinued model i think but i picked them up for $200 each and for that money they are an awesome tyre. (DRD-00F and his suggestive selling)
  7. my thermo fan switches on when the engine hits 86c (+/- 2c), 99% of the time it is off.
  8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ion-t15420.html take a look at the Zip file in the first post of that thread, then continue reading the whole thread for any other questions related to the conversion.
  9. unless there is something physically wrong with it, a rebuild is a waste of time and money that could better be spent elsewhere.
  10. maybe, greg has the new engine. might get around to putting the kit in when the engine goes in but that's still a maybe
  11. really? im not aware of any hot blonds that own a yellow 34GTT
  12. a hooker would be cheaper
  13. vipec. map based and has flatshift and anti-lag which you would probably like.
  14. spotted my engine spinning a bearing. i guess this means the other engine gets some priority
  15. could also have been a calibration issue.
  16. i wasn't aware you owned a yellow R34 until yesterday
  17. oh was that you driving down towards dickson? i was trying to figure out why some randoms were looking at me like that
  18. did you go for a few laps?
  19. might get 250kw, unlikely to get 270 out of a high flow.
  20. it is a thread asking about exhausts. the search function would have brought about 50 billion results on exhausts.
  21. that info is covered by the PDF in the first post.
  22. the "great extra features" are launch control, anti-lag, flat shifting, Map sensor instead of AFM (though it will take an AFM if you want), built in boost control with the addition of a solenoid, onboard data logging, dual fuel and ignition maps with real time change over (you wire in a switch to do so)(E85/other fuel tune and your standard 98 tune for example). There are probably other things i have missed but they are the main ones that come to mind.
  23. the vipec has a lot more features than the nisstune, but the price reflects that.
  24. The bit you seem to be missing is that the water doesn't aid in the combustion at all, it is there to cool down the intake/hot spots in the combustion chamber. Simply adding water into your petrol doesn't change the ron rating on the other hand mixing something like methanol/toluene/heptane/acetone which do aid in the combustion into your fuel will effect the ron rating though the heptane probably isn't going to do you any good in an engine.
