  1. Justjap do a 3" xforce turbo back exhaust in stainless steel for 1299. Jap brand name cat back systems start at 1099 and require you to get a front/dump pipe. and finally a basic high flow cat starts at 175.
  2. read the 24 pages. its not hard, plus you will probably cover it in 6.
  3. 7am, as a spectator you get to see under everyone's bonnet if you get there early

  6. or random people that feel the need to use bus lanes as their own personal overtaking lane which has a speed limit 20km/h faster than the posted one, flemmington road is great for this.
  7. stock internal wastegate turbo? the screamer will sound like an exhaust leak. if you must have a screamer get a turbo with an external wastegate.

  9. after a manual box.
  10. Anyone here got a good condition RB25 gearbox they no longer need?
  11. if your cat is functioning as it was designed it wont pop flames, my ignition cut shifting while making quite a few loud pops and bangs doesn't shoot any flames just big clouds of carbon.
  12. mine is running off a jaycar kit but they are hardly compact. The ecu is looking for a 0-5v input 0v being no knock and 5v being your engine about to explode with a signal somewhere in the region of 5-9khz.
  13. It does support it, as long as you have an external signal filter/amp.
  14. Turn the boost down, mine used to do that on the stock ECU at anything over 12psi but never did it at 11psi or less.
  15. car stops accelerating suddenly followed by a few loud pops and bangs from the exhaust and then continues accelerating normaly from ~5500-7000?

  17. all the RB pulleys are interchangeable, just use what ever lines up with what you intend to use or go aftermarket. (ross or ati)
  18. the crank pulley doesn't matter as you need to use one that suits the power steering/ac that you are using.
  19. and in that sub forum there is a thread that goes through pretty much everything you could want to know about the conversion.
  20. are you willing to risk the engine for the sake of saving a few dollars?
  21. stick to paper element filters the foam ones are about as useful at stopping crap getting through as vented condoms.
  22. did he say what the problem was with the GTR or just start from scratch? and how much power is it putting out now?
  23. the thing that makes this different to a standard track day is that you CAN have someone in the car with you to give you tips and what not.
  24. they don't fall in or out, they just get pushed down ~5mm and stay there. you should only need to fit restrictors in the 2nd and 3rd, the 1st is used to run the VCT
  25. if you are going to spend the money on a turbo as serious as a 3540 spend the extra on a decent manifold.
