  1. If you are running the stock ECU, that will explain why it is running so rich winding up the boost will just make it worse due to the way Nissan programed the fuel maps. You will be able to get the car up to 270hp @ the wheels with a tuned aftermarket ECU, ~12psi of boost, and an aftermarket dump and front pipe.

  4. are you sure the 023 is rated higher than a 044? From what info i could find the 023 is rated at 163L/H @ 5bar vs. the 044 rated at 200L/H @ 5bar. The HP ratings on pumps vary by 300hp depending on where you buy them, the L/H don't.

  10. Why are you trying to run it on the stock ecu?
  11. easily more expensive than "just forging the 25". modifications to the block and head to make it all bolt up. if you don't have a forward facing plenum, you will need one if you want to put a front strut brace on possibly even close the bonnet. all these details are in the RB30 section.

  13. 1. you can modify the sump and take out the front diff, any decent alloy welder should be able to do this 2. which is better comes down to personal opinion more than anything else. 3. if you are looking for cheap, neither is a good option. 4. there are way too many to list. if you are interested in the 30 conversion there is a subsection of this forum dedicated to it.

If your laptop is has a common power plug on it (ie not the dell square connector) you are better off getting a 12v converter that just plugs into the cigarette lighter as you will generally find they are cheaper than getting a decent 12v > 240v inverter that wont introduce lots of signal noise. Check out the jaycar ones as they offer a few different options at fairly good prices.

  16. Had a go yesterday you can get up to 4000rpm (foot to the floor) but above that still needs a bit of tweaking.
  17. cold start is working well now, and the idle is sitting where it should.
  18. Something like the HKS GT-RS kit should give a nice responsive 250kw (or the garrett equivalent turbo)
  19. the aqua/blue coloured ones were a factory option. there are red ones available like below which are aftermarket.
  20. The cold start will need a little bit of a tweak, and the idle screw does need to be adjusted. but other than needing a couple more cranks than normal and running fairly rich on idle it ran fine.
  21. it does, T04Z + various other mods it has some balls. that's saying make 340kw in the GTR.
