  6. or because link do the manufacturing for them and already had that casing designed it was cheaper to just use it than design a new one?

  13. As all the auto electrical gurus normaly browse here it seems sensible to post here rather than general maintenance. I am installing a wideband O2 sensor into my car, just wondering where i should get power from. Should i run a positive wire from a permanent 12v source and use a relay tied into the ignition or is there a suitable 12v source that i can connect it up to?

  16. Chris has the R32 RB25 in his as it has no VCT. If the mounting points for the boards are the same on the 20 and 25 ecu there shouldn't be a problem using an R33 RB25 case.
  17. I spoke to Lincoln from Mastertune on friday when i ordered my plugin board, i have to say the service was excellent and he was more than willing to answer any questions i had.
  18. If you want the pressure reading for a boost pressure sensor, take the boost pressure from the manifold. If it is for the waste gate it is preferable to take it after the intercooler, but before the throttle body.
  19. you shouldn't need anything as large as a 60mm gate if you are going to be running the 3076R near its limits. keeping in mind that if the waste gate is too large it makes boost control harder for the boost controller.
  20. got waved at by revhead88 on my way home.
  21. The oil restrictors should help a bit with the oil control, perhaps over fill it a bit and test out how the oil pressures go. RE, NYE. not a massive number of options, if you want to stick with the "summernats" theme you could get drunk in civic and then watch the fireworks. (assuming you are staying north side) or you could visit fyshwick or mitchell for some "adult entertainment". A lot of places actually close down during summernats as its quite a hassle dealing with all the drunks.
  22. did you put the oil restrictors in when you built your RB30? PS. come out and say hi to the ACT people while you are down here
  23. Talk to guilt-toy if you want an emissions tune. he can let you know what you will need to pass.
  24. i would stop talking to Steve-o if you don't want to hear about reliability issues .
  25. Turbine housing options 740902-4, 740902-5, and 740902-6 feature a 4-bolt turbine outlet. Turbine housing options 740902-10, 740902-11, and 740902-12 feature a 90 mm V-band turbine outlet.
