  1. 6 was too hot for my 33 they would cause det that wasn't present with 7s. How wild is the pulsar motor to want to run 8s?
  2. Surely that's too much Also is that Steve Carell?
  3. Worst comes to worst. You can get a box of 20 off ebay for $100 or smaller quantities for a fair price hike per plug due to postage.
  4. I was using bcpr7es plugs at 394rwkw. So I would just get those.
  5. It's not one of the things you need to bother with at the power level -5 will give you. Small duration high lift cams are a better spend (~260 deg ~10mm)
  6. I am a fan of burgers, but I'm not travelling that far for one
  7. Then it makes more sense. But be aware that it's not nice on your gearbox/clutch/drive shafts. Revving the car up to 4k and dropping the clutch isn't nearly as likely to break things as Revving the car up to 4k, building 20psi and then dropping the clutch. It's really a show off thing or drag racing thing, other than making turbo noises at the lights or in carparks it has no practical Street use.
  8. Because the oil pump drive off the crank gets smacked around like a hammer as the ignition cut limiters are generally faster to cut/resume and this eventually cracks the gear in your oil pump losing oil pressure followed shortly by the rest of your engine and turbo dying. Launch control depends on the ecu, some are just a 2ndary limiter, some do ignition retard and add fuel to build boost. If you have a gtst. Launch control that builds boost is fairly pointless as it just results in wheel spin.
  9. no. fuel or ignition, fuel cut is the go to default as its softer. ignition cut gives pops and bangs (and on an RB isnt great for the oil pump) and is harder. powerfc does fuel cut for the limiter, more advanced computers can do either or both as steps (eg kill fuel at 8k and fuel and ignition at 8.5k)
  10. It's got 97% on rotten tomatoes and apparently it's nailed the sound track. It's directed by the same guy as Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz. Overall reviews seem quite promising even if you aren't a bus.
  11. Pffft I had semis on the fiesta for 200 each. Way more rubber for the $$
  12. Clearly you mine that timber out of the ground and it requires a lot of processing like any minerals you dig up. That he can clad your garden in that at such a low price and so quickly is amazing in and of itself.
  13. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
  14. Getting a mustang?
  15. More red than qld?
  16. He had a bad experience with petroleum based lubricants so he only uses silicone based ones now.
  17. Turn off, unplug power cord, Pull out battery. Leave for 5 minutes. Plug battery back in and try turning it on.
  18. Noob I joined in 2006.
  19. Real men just bash the sump on everything.
  20. the sphincter of the universe eggs are the best.
  21. I had a stage 1 flash on the fiesta for ages but it means you have to use 98, otherwise it's perfectly happy to use cheap e10 on the stock tune. It was holding its own against a stock wrx in a drag all the way to 160 down the straight at Wakefield Park. Used you can pick up a my14 with a little warranty left for $16-17k. Uses about 7.5-8L/100km around town, rego and insurance are cheap too as it's an 1100kg econobox. Interior and stereo are surprisingly nice too given its price. Dem recaro seats.
  22. #tasersforparamedics
  23. Because money and reliability?
  24. Not sold on stage 2 $$ vs gains. $2200 installed for the Apr dump and tune update (on top of stage 1 cost), this gets you 15-20hp over stage 1 which costs $1500 and gets you 80hp.
