Way more friendly as a daily. It has some squish to the suspension and seats unlike the evo and the interior doesn't suffer from high spec lancer/imprezza issues the same way the evo/sti do/did. Suspension firms up if you put it in race mode (DCC), suffers from the same issues as all haldex systems, understeer on power as it's front biased.

I had ext gate (plumbed back into the exhaust) and emissions testing. I rolled through a rwc just fine with my 3L and high mount gt35. But the engineering sets you back about 4-5k by the time it's all done properly

Being one of the early 3l crowd. It seemed far easier and cheaper than it actually turned out to be. Doing it again would keep the 25 and go a 3071 or 3076. Job done, solidly fast car, not a lot of $$.

With the first criteria I would have said to check out a fiesta st, but it's manual only. Until you have driven one you won't understand just how good/fun they are, but don't expect to be winning drag races against 33s or fpvs, the SSS is an unknown though.

Why not just stick them back on for the time it takes to get the others fixed? Surely thats the simplest, easiest and cheapest solution?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10ISO Select windows 10 under creators update and use it to create an iso for you it may offer a usb drive option. You can then use a free tool called "Rufus" to make a bootable usb drive to install it if it doesn't offer you a usb drive option.

What version does it currently have on it? That's what your 10 licence would be for. Guessing most likely has home though unless it was a business laptop.
