  3. but in the boot?
  4. something for an RC car by the sounds of it.
  5. not sure if reading this correctly or you jizzed on your chicken before eating it.
  6. did you read them properly? you have to be caught drink driving 4 times before they take your car for good, conversely if your car is found to be too loud, or you accelerated too quickly according to the officers discretion (even if you didnt exceed the speed limit) 2 times thats it, cars gone. they are saying that people that drink and drive are less dangerous than a car with an exhaust thats too loud. the bikie laws, thats guilt just by knowing someone, you do not have to have done anything wrong. they then massively ramped up the penalties for anything considered a group, you can get hit with and additional 15 years in prison for any injury to someone that causes as little as a scrape thats broken skin.
  7. so um, go qld? http://www.independentaustralia.net/2013/politics/queenslands-anti-bikies-laws-were-all-criminals-now/ http://www.police.qld.gov.au/programs/roadSafety/vehimpound.htm

  10. http://www.vice.com/the-vice-guide-to-travel/the-japanese-love-industry to quote the presenter "this is profoundly, profoundly disturbing"
  11. because your curtains will fade?
  12. put a stock evo 9 MR BOV on the car instead of the atmo one that it came with to try and stop the car attempting to stall every time you come to a stop. its so super sleeperish now, 90db exhaust + nearly inaudible BOV, the loudest thing when you rev it is the pod filter.
  13. what he is saying is he straps fire extinguishers to office chairs and tests their thrust out as a job by the sounds of things.
  14. could just be all, our offer is what it is. take it and sell it or wait and hope someone else offers more. has it been on the market a while?
  15. can i inquire as to what kind of work you do, on the odd occasion that you are actually doing it?
  16. your work sounds very relaxed. are you sure its work?
  17. these results. i believe the full specs were somewhere in a mountain long thread. but it was from memory it was running a 9:1 comp ratio with some minor head work.
  18. i had a 35 on mine, too much power for daily duties and enough power to make it about as reliable as a rotary. power came on hard at 3500-4000 and insta wheel spin on anything short of near new 255 semi slicks. a GT30 with 0.82 would give near on stock turbo spool, but an extra 100kw, a 1.06 rear would tame it down from being so agressive onto boost, but obviously that comes with more lag. GT30 size turbo is the SMALLEST you can go on the 3L without choking it. check out the results AL from victoria got with his 3L with GT30, decent power/torque everywhere and the benefit of being able to keep it looking mostly stock if you wanted to, if i was to do my car again. thats the combo i would go for.
  19. Something that's 300 to 350kw max, more than that is fairly unusable without big $$$ tires and borderline too laggy for daily use. A gt30 with a .82 rear will drive almost as nice as a stock turbo 25, just that it has 300kw instead.
  20. If you get the na, don't go sticking turbo bits in while na. Turbo cams and na cams have different profiles because they benefit from the cams have more or less overlap depending on desired application. If you get any mods for it keep them basic as they arent worth much when sold and will cost significantly more than just buying a turbo one to begin with
  21. if you have 20% or more you also can forgo the insurance for the deposit which you have to get if you go in on a tiny deposit.
  22. but its so hard when you can buy nice things with it.
  23. but if the money is easily spendable, i may just spend it. easier if i cant touch it as easily.
  24. its last outing did involve 2 shredded rear tyres (temora 1000), they were bald when it got back to canberra.
