that seems like a poor deal, cheaper to just fix the ayc pump.

you can remove the pump and open it up to check it out. there is a guide on the evo oz site that shows you what you need to clean up, as long as you reassemble it with a bit of grease everywhere it should help avoid corrosion which warps the plates and causes them to fail. the reason mine is so bad is because the motor went, if it wasnt for that i would just pull it apart and clean it up, had i known earlier it would be this bad to fix and how easy it is to destory the motor.

you still need the pump for the centre diff.

indeed. it is a sad day i have evoscan, i can just trigger it the same way a dealership would via the OBD port.

make all the diffs non LSD!

thats the labour and parts to fix the pump, that does not include removal and re installation or bleeding/refilling the system. also inactive centre diff, both are run from the same pump.

my AYC pump died. does someone else want to pay the $800 to repair it?
