i find that with a fart machine configuration, ur always better off with vent to atmo, the is a risk with plumb back of spontaneous combustion (u may blow a valve) best of luck Aif

i'd get the shielded pod, i think u can get apexi pod kits on this forum for 80 or 90 buck's, then shield it, BAM, also in the trade section just jap have cheap cooler kits, have fun AIF

i use motul 1800 excel fully synth. i cant remember the wieght , but when it was warmed up it sat on 4 all the time and would only slightly raise when i flogged the car a bit. s1 r33 gtst

in the s1 r33 gtst the boost solenoid is on the passenger side behind the stock airbox. u may wonna state the car its for?

i've never done it but i think the reason people pay big $ for leather re-trimming is coz its not easy?

doesn't black smoke means its running rich,can u smell fuel, if there fuel coming out the exhaust (very fine spray) ?my mate did a turbo upgrade on a sr20det and it was smoking till it got tuned. don't know if that helps at all. good luck AiF

i got a window motor from alljaps vaginia for 125clams, and a switch from the for sale section. takes about half and hour to change the motor over then change the switch when u put the door skin back together again. if u want more infor on how to get the motor out then send me a PM and ill try to explain it (its pritty easy). i had to get my plugs re-gapped for my FMIC coz i had the same problem, and if ur coilpacks are shagged then silicon, stickie tape,baby oil or any of the other "remedies" for it will probably not last. the guys at mercury motor sports said that if u wonna boost your car then upgrade your coils and get the right gapped plugs so the spark doesn't blow out. i had that a few months ago, got my timing re-adjusted that fixed it dying when coming to a stop, and i was loosing power up top so i got splitfires and stop the top end hesitation. but that was just my experience, your problems could be something diffrent? Good luck AiF

i got 3inch piping for my cooler and its seems fine, i dont think u'll have any problems with 3inch pipes. AiF

did u change ur plugs with ur FMIC? my r33 broad minded persontered like a bitch when i had the wronge plugs in after my FMIC install. and i though cars only shot flames when there's no cat in the exaust. may be wronge but its cheaper to check these b4 buy a PFC. good luck Aif

i read in a mag that this gets done to fix PFC disease(rare idle issue), they also said that doing it should not affect your tune as it is still measuring air flow past a wire (weather its pre or post turbo its still the same airflowing through it). thats wat i gathered from the article. Aif

hi all, the CAA hose to the inlet has a pritty big crack, so i wonna replace it with something similar to the gates radiator hoses but i don't know what the part number would be for that hose. i know theres silicon hose kits from JJR.com for your vac lines, but i was wondering, do i call nissan to get a parts number and then get repco or autobarn to order them from gates, or is there another place that does similar hoses? any advice on what other parts ill need for replaceing the CAA hose and some of the vac lines would be handy (use screw clamps or zip ties). cheers, Aif
