Looking for a china spec low mount turbo manifold for my s13. Needs to be T3 flange to suit standard internal gate turbo. Not looking for anything to special - reasonable quality is fine. Let me know if you have one at a reasonable price.

I am going SGI - l am scared of the carby style set up. Without a good installer (you obviously have one) it can be real trouble. I dont plan to crack 200kw in this car.

i am sure you will be able to find a gas conversion place in adelaide. plenty of places should be able to give you the same set up. all the gear is from the same warehouse, it is only the tuner that differs.

RS4stagman and hectic180 - where does the filler cap go for your LPG setup. I just had a horrible thought that i might have to have funny looking cap popping out of the rear quarter somewhere. please tell me it is discretly mounted somewhere out of sight!

I am going dual fuel. I have spoken to Shane (i think) at Forcefeed Gas in Jandakot for a direct injection system (i think). I have the details just not in front of me. Cost is $4700. Get $3k back from govt so net cost is $1700. System includes 60lt tank mounted in the boot between rear struts and a piggy back computer to sort out the gas system. With my current fuel use it should pay for itself in 6 months. Interesting to note he is doing another stagea shortly. He is responsible for the r34 in Perth that is running on gas - thread discussing car is somewhere on this site.

I just had a quote to convert mine in WA. Will probably be booking in on Monday - 10 week wait!

Good work HEctic180 for being first to do it. I love driving the stagea and i drive around 400 - 500km per week - only thing i dont like is the fuel economy. I considered selling it due to the km i am racking up. If i can get a decent gas conversion like yours i will keep it. Just have to sort someone out in WA who knows what they are doing at a reasonable price. Much better economy and more power - who ever doesnt like that is fkn stupid!

Gasguy1 - what brand / who makes the gas kit that you use?

I am going to check out the forcefeed guy. If i can get better fuel economy out of my stagea i will keep it. If i get more power i will be absolutely stoked! In WA we get the $2k federal grant and $1k state grant so we get $3k to convert to gas. A good conversion shouldnt cost much more than that if sing a generic tank in the luggage space in the boot.

I have seen the heads up display on a car in Perth. One of the guys on this site used to have a red s1 with it - sorry i forgot your name

Has anyone done the conversion in WA. I would seriously consider it if i could find someone who actually knew what a stagea was!

Probably coolant leaking from a cracked heater core. I had the same problem. Is there a coolant or stale smell about the water? This seems to be a common problem and is a bitch to fix.

MissSky - as you now have so much experience in changing heater cores, do you want to do mine.

Why dont people just use the Emanage ultimate. For around $1k installed it is a lot cheaper than this (combined with the price of the SAFC and SITC) and it is a factory unit that can be tuned by a number of different workshops. Just a thought

My car got a lot quieter and smoother when i fitted a new split dump pipe and hi flo cat. Noisy drone is gone and car revs a lot smoother. I havent got any other mods. Sounds more quality rather than lazy fart sound it had before.
